i was at scotch corner services the other week and they had a little M&S selling snakages.. i had a lovely mini sushi with soy source and it only cost £1

I remember the £1 Billion pre tax as it got blanket press coverage
at the time, they looked untouchable back then - appearances proved to
be deceptive and their markets began to change rapidly.

Old Crow, you should take it back, apart from getting your money back it will make M&S confront the suppliers.

It's in all shareholders interests to keep M&S on it's toes

In general I think their food quality is exceptional.

Dont touch MKS banking sure will have overseas call centers not for the Crows
Even the food has gone downhill,bought a chicken and leek pie recently
what a fraud just filled a mushy paste no chicken or leek detected, disgusting

Thought we would try similar pie from Waitrose, fantastic real chicken pieces
and leeks and tasted good

The Holiday offer was a great one.

There is an area of concern on the Food side imv and that is the rapid
current expansion by Waitrose.

Where was Waitrose in % share in Food 15 years ago?, probably less than
1-2% at the very most - what has happened to MKS share over this period?.
