Are you another Numpty Humpty

So no jobs ,so no money, so can't buy clothes.

Why buy clothes when one might be dead in less than a month.

Shrouds are from undertakers and marks do not do shrouds.

Have you invested all your family money and its disappearing fast .

its hammering down tomorrow.

Will Lockwood29 Oct 2020 9:11PMI don't know anyone who goes shopping anymore. Masks have put people off. My wife & my sisters were serial shoppers. None have been to our nearest retail park since March. All stating masks as the main reason. Young children and adults having to wear masks is impossible, children need visual as well as audible commands.I wonder how many other people are doing the same?9LikeReplyDominic Husband29 Oct 2020 9:20PM@Will LockwoodSame. Not been in a shop since the mask ban. Not been in a pub since February. Whenever and however the police state ends, I think people will start shopping again. Wandering around town, especially Waterstones and HMV, is still a favourite pastime. The only thing that will stop me from doing that ever again will be the businesses being destroyed by the lockdown culture.... Daily Telegraph

vomit

Go and spew up somewhere else robot and I have called this right, people are dropping like flies after hitting a windscreen and as they do so they aren't buying clothes or food.

No jobs no money as robot says.

So that is why MARKS aren't going to spend money on clothes adverts its no point spending money when no one is buying clothes.

The statement on this is clear evidence of the clothes sales in trouble.

Latest coronavirus data 29th October:

Positive tests 23,065

Patients in hospital 10,308

On ventilator N/A

Admissions 1,404

Deaths 280

Comment:

Other data suggests real Positive tests are probably nearer 100,000 a day. Patients in hospital climbing and so are admissions.

ASDA new owners in EG group have been served a double blow yesterday, first their auditors Deloitte resignation and now MOODY's downgrading their debt.

hxxps://www.retailgazette.co.uk/blog/2020/10/issa-brothers-face-fresh-blow-as-moody-downgrades-eg-group-debt/

The two brothers who run EG could have bitten more than they can chew due to the amount of debt they have.

They paid over 4 billion for ASDA one questions whether it was worth that figure.

It would only take a downturn in business and the whole group could be in trouble. However I suspect they could ring fence ASDA off if it still went bust and assume they would have already seen to that, thus protecting the garage side of the business.

Marks Spencer cancels its Christmas clothes advertising and to concentrate on food is a hint that clothes sales are continuing to decline and will also do so:

I have to say MARKS statement could amount to a further profit warning and the market decline in share price believes that.
