The silly man had given up his job to gamble his redundancy away.

This moral tale would not have ended in sorrow,
If numpty had not bought all he could with money he has borrowed.

Which left his wife and kids so fraught!

His wife had enough,
of all his bluff,;

He promised his family riches,
but his friends were all in stiches;

This could only go one way,
His behavior would end in dismay;

His wife and kids left his home,
So he could sit in pity on his own;

When humpty numpty though he could take no more despair,
He realized his behavior had caused his wife to have an affair;

But to end this story in such a sad way,
The courts granted a divorce and he has to pay maintenance to his wife and kids,
With lots to pay!

Humpty dumpty had many a regret,
But sadly regret does not pay off the debt!
