Hi CR,

I'm happy with the share price movement.

Thanks for the background re Wrigley.

He's been Chairman for 5 years. AFAIAA this is his first buy - 10,000 out of 10,000.

I do not like mjw business model. I went into the new one in lytham and they wanted me to buy 6 bottles but i just wanted a bottle of nerf de pape. It put me off a bit. I never see anyone in the shop. zI own shares but some change to business model is needed imho

You'll have to excuse me Tom.

I'm trying to decide which Majestic fine-wines to purchase with my 4-day MJW gains.

Over the last 7 days, nearly 200 people per day have joined the queue to join NW's "Angels" membership club.

Has them growing that list over 20% per annum.

Volume today nearly as high as Monday's volume - up £1 from Friday's lows - the city loves the story imo.

Lots of punters waiting for a dip too imo - as they do when these things take off.

All imo/dyor etc

I see MJW are getting less uncompetitive on their offers. Today they are offering Ned Sauvignon Blanc at £6.99/bottle. This compares with the £6.65/bottle, including delivey, I recently paid at Waitrose albeit I had to buy 24 bottles to get that price.

Istr that Naked Wines use Yodel for delivery.

I believe Yodel is both loss-making and owned by the Barclay twins - who, coincidentally, own the Telegraph newspaper.

Losing some business to click&collect won't help Yodel's profitability.

Been a customer of NW for years, very satisfied overall, when there's a problem they sort it and I've had easy access to Gormley on a couple of occasions, I'd say he's a good bloke the driving force and he's built a good team reflecting his values. Not sure how he'll tackle Majestic, which I also use and like their service and staff knowledge but they're not as innovative as Naked. I'm sure Gormley can use the extra buying power and cut costs while improving service options and products. They are better than the supermarkets if you like a different wine and good service to go with it but I wonder how many wine buyers want to pay the extra few quid to be lured away from Sainsburys and the like. We'll see, bought a few anyway, basically backing Gormley.
