07/5/2015 10:43 | Very firm today, on a weak day for the market imo. CR | cockneyrebel
05/5/2015 12:24 | Naked Wines expands into olive oil market | cockneyrebel
04/5/2015 14:44 | Naked Wines buys Margaret River vineyard "“Partnering with Naked Wines has not only brought our wines to a much bigger audience, but has provided the financial stability to take on this investment in our winemaking future. It’s a hugely exciting time for my family, and we’re looking forward to being able to really intricately manage the entire process of winemaking, starting with the grapes.” Naked Wines is currently experiencing a period of growth, with two new winemakers joining its team." | cockneyrebel
29/4/2015 18:52 | Naked Wines' Angels waiting list has been processed at a rate of about 190 per day over the last three weeks. In that time, the outstanding waiting list has grown from around 6,000 to 8,000. In other words, the rate at which wannabe Angels are joining the waiting list is around 290 per day. That's a growth rate of more than 100k per year at present. | jazza
24/4/2015 12:49 | certainly big upside vs minimal downside. cheers, | leeson31
24/4/2015 12:41 | Yep, see it as a great recovery play and #new story' with Naked Wines CEO now running the show. Intraday reversal today - rather bullish - and on volume. All imo CR | cockneyrebel
24/4/2015 10:32 | you see this as a good recovery play CR ? the weekly chart below shows it's broken its long term down trend line, and imo, the ~363.5p area is a back-test point and a good entry point to join the 'ride' up perhaps. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | leeson31
24/4/2015 08:49 | Nice buy point on the chart here perhaps - punters like the story and want in on a dip imo. All imo CR | cockneyrebel
22/4/2015 11:27 | it's a bot - nothing to do with shorting - it's someone buying in tiny chunks via computer programme without moving the price if they can help it CR | cockneyrebel
20/4/2015 19:59 | I would think they vould do with tickets or leaflets to allow people to buy one bottle occasionaly so people could try some wines without having to buy 6 at once. This would help get people in the shop and try it out | ccraig69
20/4/2015 14:41 | jamielein, spot on observation. I buy quite a lot of wine from Majestic, well rather a lot actually. Whilst I like a good price, I'm not fussed if it's not the cheapest. I like the convenience of ordering and getting it delivered next day or so. I also find that what I want to drink isn't necessarily found in the supermarkets. Just discovered a Portuguese red that is lovely, as a result of a recommendation from a member of staff. Last time I went to buy wine in a supermarket, they didn't have anyone I could ask advice from. There's definitely a niche for MJW and it's not trying to appeal to people who just want a bottle or two of something they've heard of at 10p less than somewhere else. | alter ego
20/4/2015 14:15 | all good points. thanks vm everyone. | emeraldzebra
20/4/2015 13:31 | I'm guessing MJW customers probably focus on quality rather than price. They'll never appeal to customers who want to buy wine for £5/bottle, and shouldn't be trying to compete with the supermarkets in that way, otherwise it's just a race to the bottom. From what I've heard from colleagues about Naked Wines, it's all about the quality at a reasonable price (a little bit like investing really!) This is coming from someone who knows nothing about wine though. I don't drink it, apart from the occasional bottle of Sauternes, a lovely sweet dessert wine. | jamielein

20/4/2015 11:00 | But is the ELEPHANT in the room still not the Lidls and Aldis ? They still have loads of muscle ?? just a thought....quality is one thing - price is quite another. | emeraldzebra

17/4/2015 13:37 | I was referring to it being one of potentially several buys at the moment potentially Gengulphus. I was saying that because he's bought 10K doesn't mean he's not going to buy more. If I'm buying stock on a bit of a bounce I often spread it over several trades in case it comes back - ie, average in. Nice intra-day reversal today anyway. CR | cockneyrebel
17/4/2015 10:55 | Not necessarily his only buy is it? says both that he bought 10,000 shares on the 14th and that after the purchase, he had an interest in 10,000 shares. So as of the 14th, yes, it is his only outstanding buy. He could of course have bought earlier but sold the shares concerned - I haven't looked back through the RNSes - but any such purchases don't count towards the amount of 'skin' he has in the game at present. And he might have bought again in the last day or so and still be in the allowed window before the purchase needs to be announced - but apart from that possibility, this purchase is effectively his only purchase. 16/4/2015 09:27 | Hi again, Rowan gets his 4.5 million shares as 'contingent consideration', with some clawback depending on whether targets achieved or not. DAK if shareholders are likely to find out what his targets are ? For comparison, TNI executive incentive shareholdings vest on attainment of some simple, numerical share price levels.
