New £2.8m contract with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) We’re excited to announce a new contract with the DHSC which will make social care data more accessible and easier to use.
10/09/2024
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has signed a £2.8 million contract with Made Tech to create a new social care data tool. Selected for our deep understanding of social care data and extensive expertise in health data management, we’ll create a tool that will help everyone in the sector access and use social care data more easily, by bringing together data from different sources. This will improve analysis, policy-making, and service planning at all levels.
It will be a vital tool in extracting the value of social care data in other transformational projects like the new social care client-level dataset.
The project will deliver two phases: Alpha and Beta, building on the 2023 discovery findings. The Alpha phase will prototype solutions to test technical and user requirements, validate the vision, develop a roadmap, and look at expansion possibilities.
Raj Malhi, Head of Strategy and Data at DHSC, said, “We’re really looking forward to working with Made Tech on this programme. Their knowledge of social care data and expertise in managing health data will bring valuable insights and ensure success.”
Hazel Jones, Director of Health and Care at Made Tech, added, “We are passionate about using our skills to improve data insights and decision-making in the health and care sector. We’re excited to support the DHSC team on this important programme.” |

£7m contract over 2 years to start with. Why no RNS? |
Nice and bowly! |
Adding lots more.
I found a research note which is excellent on their 'documents' page of the website. |
Yep - already up 67% over the past 3 months ! 😊 |
Gone NT to buy @ 25.50p after only 20,000 shares purchased !
The shares are heading for 30p very soon and then past 40p on trading update. |
It looks like MM's are short of stock , currently can sell above mid but it's NT to buy @ 25p even 5000 shares. |
Still considerably undervalued for the growth projected for 2025 , capped at just £34m which includes apprx 30% of cash.
Cash at the end of August was £8.6m and will have no doubt increased over the last 3 months to end of November. |

Off the 2024 lows but still has not reached the highs of 2023 which was over 40p. |
+ Directors have skin in the game! |
I think that more people are becoming aware of the potential here and some momentum is building. The shares are now up 270% over the past 9 months. The company is profitable, has net cash, no debt and an EV of just over 9 based on last years results. With sales expected to exceed £40m this year and a profit of circa £3m, the shares are now undervalued with a market cap of £33.6m, especially when virtually a quarter of that is in cash. |
Thanks Masurenguy.
What do you make of the large buys on Friday |
