29/8/2003 11:00 | OH YER always watching and reading | sseajack
29/8/2003 10:59 | Still watching cableguy, but not much to say | premierpompey
29/8/2003 10:52 | Know absolutely what you mean m8 - I'll stop posting again now like I did a couple of weeks ago. No point in doing donkey work for everyone else, must have been going soft in my old age - Catch ya around. PS pre-market open, the offer hit 0.41 for a quick moment - looks like it meant nothing though ;-) | cableguy00
29/8/2003 10:42 | Read that already Cableguy00 but didn't bother posting as nobody else seems to be interested! | bungeetrader
29/8/2003 09:57 | Bronfman warns Vivendi off NBC - Courtesy of The Guardian | cableguy00
28/8/2003 14:12 | I do not think that 2.4M is significant - it is less than £7k and less than 0.5% of the share capital. IMHO Regards | the kapitalist
28/8/2003 09:48 | Not too sure what to make of that 2.4M trade at 0.275... If you look back to the 19th (same amount rang a bell with me) you'll see the same amount of 2.4M at the SAME price!! Also at the time of that trade (though it was delayed on that day) both the bid and offer were the exact same as it is today... Anyone come across the same kind of thing in the past? Could it be an indicator of some kind, either positive or negative? Or maybe it's nothing... | cableguy00
28/8/2003 09:44 | hi all first sale 2.4M sell, what will be the repercursion if jnr win or lose? it's snr who is interested in PCM and MBF. | irwinthegreat
27/8/2003 15:23 | It seems it may be a lot closer than we think! | bungeetrader
26/8/2003 23:33 | VUE Meeting concluded and will enter into separate talks with the two 'strongest bidders'. Courtesy of abcnews:- | cableguy00
26/8/2003 15:55 | VUE hit by a $1.5bn Tax Bill Slight chance that this latest twist may sway things in Ed Jnr's favour due to the amount of cash his consortium is bringing to the table. | cableguy00
26/8/2003 11:41 | Well, second place out of just two bidders still leaves a 50/50 chance. Cheers for the link again | cableguy00
26/8/2003 10:55 | Bronfman still seems to in second place, > | bungeetrader
26/8/2003 09:40 | Nice big 'X' trade of 12M I see an RNS coming on by end of week | cableguy00
26/8/2003 09:36 | A bit more on Bronfman/Vivendi. Doesn't paint a good pictur of Bronfman Jr but is still a bit more info; > | bungeetrader
26/8/2003 08:27 | Seems that Bronfman has upped his bid to $13 billion now; > | bungeetrader
26/8/2003 08:19 | cableguy. Sarcastic and to the point. Cheers! LoL! | simeon7
26/8/2003 08:14 | Simeon7 > er... if you're that bored, why not read this thread going back about 2 months - your question will be answered but the basis of the whole thing is that one of the bidders for VUE is the son of MBF's Deputy Chairman. Their family also used to own VUE... MBF will change their name to Bella Media on 10 Sept on approval at a meeting on that day. Bella Media will be constructing a number of IMAX cinemas in the US and possibly China also. So take all that into consideration, read the thread and let us know what you come up with eh... Regards | cableguy00
26/8/2003 08:06 | Liberty Media Drop out, may also prompt the last two to withdraw as well because VUE are screwing around by saying they might delay things even further. | cableguy00
26/8/2003 00:26 | Cableguy00, 'Cablevision to have a joint venture with a 'new company' - wonder who that might be?' Surely that would be too much to hope for! What a thought............. | bungeetrader
25/8/2003 16:34 | I know absolutely naff all about this stock, but have been watching trading closely over the past few days (I also hold about 20k for some strange reason). The trades page is quite similar to another stock I invest in - SIP, in that it seems like no buys are going through and everything is a sell, yet the price stays static. SIP then suddenly jumed 40% for no reason. Just thought I would bring this to your attention, as I am bored. PS : What has the Vivendi auction got to do with MBF? Kindest regards A very bored person. | simeon7 |
