Just to set the record straight:

The 28 March XD date is provisional and subject to change (See note below the table)

As of 10 March, the dividend has not been declared so the amount of the [potential] dividend has not been disclosed.

All numbers lightly posted here are pure speculation and naturally provoke harmless innocent ironic comments.

Ref post #4393: What an unprovoked and uncool post - always a few trolls who appear on these threads !

I was hoping the XD would fall back until after 06.04.2024 and new ISA day, but seems we lucked out, so will have to add post XD to catch it next year.. :o)

Apologies. I hadn't seen that. Seems impressive that they're going to manage the XD just one week after results are announced

It's remarkable isn't it. It's like he as some spooky prescience, second sight or something. I wonder if he could recommend some numbers for the lottery tonight

I agree with Helen, this has tended to drop moree than the divi, so I think an initial drop at market open 17p with a slight recovery over the day.

My view on the divi pullback is at least 13p.

bought back 25k at 221
nice chart now. how to time the other 25k is problematic. not that it really matters oover a few pence but i'd rather buy at under 220. divi soon. what kind of pullback might that entail? it looks as if the market is feeling more bullish about financials and anticipating a recovery later this year.
optimistic

Yes Helen a very positive looking short term chart I think.

The run to the divi no doubt helps keep support around 220 I would say and a break and hold of 230 would attract more attention in my opinion.

Good luck all 👍🏻

The closeness of results and divi payment may be generating activity and position taking.

Was they offer at some stage ?

Makinbucks….the problem with PruFund is its design for smoothing which is unique and therefore difficult to get platforms to develop a product specific feature. It is also not a product that can be sold direct under MiFID regulations - customers need to be advised despite the demonstrable track record of the multi asset fund producing less volatile returns than many funds sold on platforms.
There is an unsmoothed OEIC version of most PruFund derivatives some of which are carried by platforms….but they don’t get much promotion probably because MNG prefers to sell the WP version.
MNG has implemented PruFunds on its own platform (although that may be for sale).

The thinking towards the platform and the distribution of PruFund seems somewhat muddy. My reading is its a marketable brand with good financial performance but restricted by in house IT. I wonder if some smart Fintech business could help them
