If we're going to theorise about how to make money out of the markets i'd like to add that in the last 12 months i've found good stocks and bad stocks.
Profit rate for me on sage is 100% i've won on it long about 7 times, and even won on it short 3 or 4 times.
Then theres bad shares that seem to do the opposite of you think it will.... every time !
In the last 12 months i've broken even. Like most I lost money in the bear market as I was new to trading and for most of that period of time had no idea how to set about shorting a stock.
i've willed that if I ever start losing money again i'll stop, like I said though i'm struggling to find that winning system and am presently breaking even.
If only i'd just stuck to predictable old sage eh ?
Hindsight is a wonderfull thing with the stockmarket though.

maestro, why the desperation to get rich quick? Remortgaging to free up capital is one thing (and bad enough), but I just don't understand why you're punting with money from credit cards (I hope you're managing them well, at least, and have 0% interest) and loans. If you're as good as you think you are you'll make the money without borrowing, it'll just take a few years longer. If you're not as good as you think you are, you appear to be risking everything.
