ST has raised his price target to 120p, which happens to be slughtly less than mine at 125p as I am expecting share buybacks at a discount to NAV to be increased as the cash comes in.

Share buy backs moving price up nicely-should be a £1.00 plus soon.

I thought yesterday's RNS a bit odd, the sort of minor thing that is not usually announced by LXB. I wonder whether they have been advised by the brokers to be extra transparent during the period of buybacks. I also wonder when we will get the new NAV, promised early in the new year.

"Open A1" means that the unit is not restricted to the sale of bulky goods (ie, DIY, furniture and the like).
This makes the unit more valuable and marketable and provides further options for adding value.
Kind of surprising that the previous owners of the unit (Royal London Asset Management) did not secure this confirmation of its planning status, but I'm not complaining!

I think they will re-configure the site, and sell it.

Looks like one of the insto investors sold the large chunk there, my guess is the two trades at slightly different prices are the broker taking his fee, I think we see a holding rns to reflect soon

mf,

I also agree that in this instance it is the right thing to do. The downside is that it delays us getting 10% of our funds back, but we could get an extra 1.5% on the price on the total investment, which equates to a decent return, even if it does take another year to get it.

Usually I would agree but as the co is being wound up over the next 18 months and there is a current discount to NAV of 15-30% (depending on what NAV turns out to be) this should be good news.In other words, the NAV of the co at the moment is probably something around 200m and there are around 178m shares in issue. If the cash is spent buying and cancelling these shares we will end up with a NAV of 182m and around 159m shares in issue, so the NAV per share will increase, and the more the current discount the more the increase will be. Can't wait to hear the revised NAV early in 2016.

Think I would have preffered to have had the cash back! Even more effective than share buy backs which always seem to end up being a bit obscure at the best of times.

Good morning from a scorching Cape Town, where back in Durban we have taken the crucial wicket of De Villiers, and I also note another great announcement from LXB. Should be underpinned at this price now.

COUNCIL bosses have been forced to admit that they "don't know" what the future holds for the Corton development.

__________

Council bosses should seek advice from 'council owner bosses' as the next level, for support and reference, internally.
