30/11/2020 11:59 | If this reports continuation of improved trading/outlook easy break of 250p could be seen. | its the oxman
24/11/2020 11:26 | Bought a few today 210p, trading was strong and update soon hopefully, certainly feels left behind by the covid bounce and most other property / house builder plays. | its the oxman
13/3/2020 16:45 | I suspect that talks between LSL and (that pile of rotting carcass) Countrywide would have been most unlikely to be satisfactorily completed in any event-but the devastation to SP's in the last week surely makes a deal almost impossible to contemplate. | tarrant777
04/2/2020 10:43 | Very positive news on BBC this morning: Property website Rightmove said it had its busiest-ever month in January with more than 150 million visits.
The top five busiest days ever on the site were all between 21 and 29 January, with Wednesday 29th topping the list with more than 5.7 million visits, up 9% on the previous record set on 24 April 2019.
“Home-movers have sprung into action in 2020, with a large number of agents telling us that sales and valuations have picked up significantly in their local areas," said Rightmove director Miles Shipside. | f15jcm
18/12/2019 13:39 | sold at 285p as it's had a good run. May re-enter if it drops back significantly | mister md
01/11/2019 19:50 | Picked up 5k shares early on today to start my position. Been watching closely for a while, hardly a share bought all week and then volume started coming in this morning which has helped move the price. | f15jcm
22/10/2019 22:34 | Looking at this for a post-Brexit recovery play as I suspect there are a lot of households who have been putting off moving house due to the political uncertainty and the potential economic fallout. Doesn't look like a bad option but there were some hellish exceptional costs in H1 due to branch closures, which saw shareholder equity go down and debt increase. Do we know if there are any further closures planned in H2 and beyond? It's OK quoting exceptionals if they really are one offs but I'm concerned they may become a regular feature with material impact on cash flow. | f15jcm
22/1/2019 11:39 | it's oh so quiet ... | mister md

Topped up at 2.45p. Back up to £3 from here.....
Award for most accurate price prediction goes to you sir ... ;) | mister md
05/12/2017 11:21 | It is, however as far as I can see the company is doing very well. Re structured so closing branches which are not working. Fs side of the business is flying and there is no reason for that to stop. Looking forward to the next set of results, i’m expecting the fs side to be up even further. | macminchus
05/12/2017 10:35 | One of the quietest boards on ADVFN ?! | mister md
28/11/2017 08:34 | shareprice making good gains on a daily basis here ... | mister md
04/8/2017 15:50 | Topped up at 2.45p. Back up to £3 from here..... | trogerswinning
01/8/2017 11:48 | Good set of results given the static top line and limited movement in the resi market. | trogerswinning
17/7/2017 15:09 | Nice little company this. Good fundamentals and a cracking update. Makes a chance for me to be holding something with a positive TU.
Fundamentals are pretty undemanding with a well covered 4% divi, even ignoring the likely uplift with the Results. | pulsey
30/5/2017 15:12 | Bought into these today - chart looks like it's about to breakout and the stockopedia ranking is in the 90s | essential
09/2/2017 16:03 | Kind of tempted to buy again sub 200p but perhaps wiser to wait for next update. | its the oxman
13/1/2017 20:31 | Sold out of these at c.240p recently on a intraday high, lucky I guess to bank a profit, and reinvested in savills. Got a bounce on their results. LSL not sure about. Doing better than CWD but longer term jury is out for traditional estate agency. | its the oxman
04/11/2016 08:45 | Still on my watch list waiting for the bottom.
There is clearly a "new normal" in the property market where sales are down for good......unless the government cuts stamp duty and I doubt that will happen.
Rental is benefiting so that is the flip side.
The big question is......are new disruptors like purple bricks going to start eating their lunch and if so....is there anything they can do about it. | salpara111
27/10/2016 15:59 | Any holders out there c. 200p now? | its the oxman
24/8/2016 23:17 | Worth a punt 220p? - or is the property market bust for good? | its the oxman
