Seunning results - and let's not forget this is through a recessiom. Earnings nearly doubling, margins rocketing, net debt nerxt to mothing and a fwd PE for the current year of 14 but what in all liklihood after these results is much lower - 11-12 max imo. Must get a stack of buy notes and do a Rightmove soon imo. CR

results in 8 days, already said they are well ahead of forecasts. Rightmove motoring and website hitting hoghs. I expect next year's forecasts to be upgraded at the results - Halifax estate agents are going to add a lot to forward earnings imo. Lots of sells recently and they are all being gobbled up by a buyer out there. I reckon these are going to have a big run up to the results and afterwards. Adjusted eps will have doubled from last year and I suspect with an increased forecast of something like 25p+ for the coming year eventually then the growth rate her will look cheap for a single digit PE stock imo. My bet is also that the share rally up to the results and just following it takes LSL into the FTSE250 next month and the illiquidity of the stock will mean tracker funds buying it drives the price up rapidly imo. Oooo... several 100K's :-) Winkworth very upbeat today: M Winkworth plc Trading Statement M Winkworth plc ("Winkworth"), the leading franchisor of real estate agencies, is providing the following Trading Statement for the period from November 2009 to date. Summary The second half of 2009 saw strong performance led by our offices in prime markets, which witnessed price growth recovery of 20% and certain properties returning to 2007 price levels. This was driven by renewed strength in demand but also reduced supply, particularly in central London, spreading out to London as a whole towards the latter part of the year. Prime market offices reported that 60-70% of their applicants were international buyers, with significant cash deposits, taking advantage of the weakness of Sterling. The shortage of available properties worsened towards the end of the year, ensuring a competitive environment amongst buyers and above normal levels of activity over the Christmas period. We expect our revenue targets for 2009 to have been exceeded and remain very comfortable of the overall result for the year. Outlook After the rapid rebound of property in the second half of 2009 and a good start to 2010, despite the extreme weather, it is clear that there is significant momentum in the market and demand for increased finance availability. The key determinants questions for 2010 will be: * the election and how it affects sentiment * the outlook for interest rates rise * the availability of finance, which continues to cheapen and increase CR
