I posted on here a while ago that this was a dog share and got slated. I screen for shares with rising trend on a meaningful and accelerating earnings per share. And I cut for a small loss the few that fail to hold/trend support. So tend to avoid car crash positions and if I get a black swan it's often from a small position. Only ever add to winning positions and absolutely never something that is failing to make price gains. And finally ignore what most say on bulletin boards and social media!

From the pages of ADVFN, a few which I think you might find that fall within you paramaters - I have excluded bio pharmer - mineral exploration and a multitude of software companies - are VLS - MODERN WATER - FIRE ANGEL (Sprue Aegis) IOFINA -HARDIDE - PLANT IMPACT - You could have made money in any of the above - Subject to timing but there were (imo) fundamental flaws which were easy to see with hindsight. Aint 20/20 reverse vision wonderful!!

Glenowen, post 2571. Yes, Tommo is quick to brag about his winners but keeps shtum about the heavy losses- He did the same after tipping a couple of Chinese Aim stocks that turned out to be fraudulent & were eventually suspended. I like to think that if he was such a genius at stock picking, he wouldn’t need to be picking up a regular wage writing for the IC.

Shocking they didnt update on cash yesterday. Makes you suspect its dropped significantly. They had about £15m of debts which was £3m net debt with £12m cash covering most of it - but strangely omitted to update on cash /debts yesterday. Bod cant be trusted here imo. Holders will have to wait for results to find out.

The profit warning should be given as soon as known not saved up for a H1 trading update. Very poor comms.

I got out unscathed as smelt a rat last week. Why i largely avoid AIm shares now. Plenty of quality bargains out there in the main market.

You are misunderstanding the (now) core business and the needs LOOP's clients have if you are comparing this to Zoom. There is a market for what LOOP offer but the question is whether LOOP can deliver and I am 50/50 on that now.

Good summary. I don't really like the way they do their RNS's either. Always feels like they are trying to pull the wool over PI's eyes a bit. Really they should be transparent with cash, contract length (rather than just TCV) and so on. It's clear they need to totally 180 the business towards Teams telephony. This will either rise slowly back to over £1 or sink from here. Execution against pipe on the nee product will make this sink or swim. Will continue to hold a small portion of my original investment and see how it goes.

Whilst I'm not happy with the drop in share price, I see this as a buying opportunity, both for PI's and directors. The latter need to be seen.I'm in Telco's and see the TCV at north of 100m as an asset. It also represents 62% of their revenue and growing. All of the above depends on whether the exec are being truthful?

Have to agree. If people aren't using TEAMS they are using ZOOM

I think the pivot away from their own software and more become a Microsoft Teams Gold provider and being able to link Teams with businesses phone systems is a great idea, and can imagine the addressable market to be big - so could be life in the old dog yet.

However, the question is how quickly they can pivot from one to another. I agree with an earlier poster - would have been great to understand the cash position. Last report they have £12M in cash which at todays market cap would be half of the business! However, if they haven't reported the cash position in the update, I'll assume that its gone down a fair chunk!

Around 82% of Revenue came from their own platform last year and only 6% from selling telephony services so its a big change.

Could be real value at this level, or could be one of these companies that always appears cheap and the price drifts downwards. I've sold out after yesterdays update but gl holders.

No - cash position is healthy. Partly why I didn't sell out totally. Could be a great investment from here if they improve the new biz win rate. It's a risk though as legacy product subscriptions are falling off rapidly

I was also expecting wins in the new telephony/ Teams product to be somewhat faster than this.. their rate of pipe conversion is below SaaS industry standards

I've sold all but a very small quantity. They might be able to get back to 2020 earnings in 2023 IF all the stars align. I put my hands up and say I got this wrong. I grossly underestimated the rate at which ARR from 'legacy' products would fall away. Reading the old RNS's again yesterday the signs were there... live and learn....

I see that the company's main drum beater, apart from Kirk 6, has finally given up on this dog. Simon Thompson in Investors Chronicle is now recommending Sell, after yesterday's release. About time too - and not a hint of an acceptance from him that "I got this one wrong, sorry for my earlier exuberance"!
