Iv'e been watching these for a while now, and decided to climb aboard. In at around 7750 ave, see how they go. IMHO, the Refinitiv acquisition will accelerate them into a major financial services data provider, albeit still trailing Bloomberg by a distance. As we all know, data is the new gold, and the Refinitiv acquisition should generally improve the standard valuation metrics for LSE as the market gets over the surprise of the integration costs.

I suspect they will surprise on the upside (less than estimated) re integration costs, which knocked the stuffing out of the shares earlier. Just need a little patience. Despite continued rumours, I doubt HK Exchange will come back for another go given the increasing Chinese influence.

Earlier this year when i first browsed Refinitiv website i thought what a cr*ap site. Yesterday I visited again and was pleased to find that someone has redone and overhauled it. If I were in the market for buying information (data) cobbled together from the activities of others I would go to Refinitiv. Of particular interest was an interview with a R person talking enthusiastically about AI and nLP. I first encountered NLP decades ago as a useful tool when talking to audiences (public speaking). It made me think about what goes on in my head when i listen and speak; and has since made a big difference to how to best get it across to anyone talking with me that I am unable to process too much information at a time. It has also made me aware of just how many people do not answer the question asked but tend to be helpful by ignoring what is asked and instead imposing their own ideas on how I should understand something.
