Ah m, so this explains the share price weakness and the CEO comments/ explanation a few days ago. And his reference to a known tax liability. A big placing which will clear the air and being book built now. Interesting!

Holding here seems a lot riskier today than anytime in the past few years, with fears over acquisition costs , growth , and changes in trading flows re Brexit. Will wait till next results and see if the ship has settled before considering buying. Chart says 6000p if further disappointment, if not i guess it could return to previous highs.

Mm reference the LSE 2.40p price that TRCML states he thinks he originally bought at. I have no recollection of it hitting that low level but, of course, it is about twenty years ago when it first floated under the direction of Clara Furse. My recollection is it was over £3.00 at the off. Admittedly, given the rights issue many years later one can make a technical adjustment. Not a brilliant day for the stock today but these things do move around as has been proved time and time again!

In March 202, I paid 66.3 and sold in April for 73.5. Bough again this month for 84… hmm. Mind you, the first time I bought was when the share price was circa £2.40. Sold a bit later for a profit. Who knew!!!

You know there used to be a saying in the old stock market where someone in this situation described themselves as a bit of a religious investor quoting “and on the third day they rise again “! Surprisingly that often happens. Good luck .
