20/2/2010 17:12 | my shares are held in nominee accounts and I don't get accounts etc so I appreciate these comments keeping me up to date.... | leapinn
20/2/2010 15:21 | Well the 2008 accounts arrived yesterday, so surprised that there is no comment here. Key points for me were: - Relationship with Kaidi Holdings still seems to be moving forward; - Nothing new announced; - 2009 accounts expected in March; - Listing as Sunrise New Energy Group Ltd expected; - New 29% investor, Richpoint Group Overseas Limited, based in Singapore; - Net assets reduced from £22m to £19m. - Cash reduced from £6m to £5m. - No further mention of the 5p tender. - Directors' emoluments of only £140k in 2009. Anyway, the Board seem to be sticking to the task at hand. Looks like we will get progress in 2010. | topvest

07/2/2010 12:51 | Great - thanks. Any update on timings - when are the accounts expected? | topvest
07/2/2010 11:59 | Made a call - all is tickety boo - fingers crossed. | dougcsv
31/1/2010 21:30 | I actually meant to call them last week but did'nt get around to it = I'll try this week. | dougcsv
31/1/2010 19:08 | Yes, agree. Same here. If I had to put a timescale on it, I would say H1 of 2010 to get the tender offer done. That's what he should have said, rather than January for the 2008 accounts which was clearly always going to be a big ask. | topvest
31/1/2010 19:04 | Might be an idea for someone to give KN a call. Don't get me wrong - there is still a way to go on this. But I am cautiously positive rather than cautiously negative. If that makes any sense! | loverat
31/1/2010 18:53 | Yes, my comments related to previous management. If anyone reads the annual report for 2007 it's obvious to me that there was quite a lot of improper behaviour, and that's being charitable. As to the new management team, they are doing the right things. It's not an easy job and they do seem to be making progress. They do tend to over-promise and under-deliver though. The Chairman needs to learn from his mistakes and not give dates, if he can't meet them! They need to knuckle-down and get the 2008 accounts (+2009) filed before this company gets struck off for late filing of accounts. Then, just maybe, we will get some of our money back. | topvest
31/1/2010 18:42 | topvest - 21 Sep'08 - 14:23 - 8765 of 9124 Has anyone spoken to management here? Looks like something dodgy has gone on. If the cash has disappeared, is anyone investigating these guys for theft? topvest - you posted this a while back. No one at the time was investigating these guys for theft. But since KN's arrival that has all changed. Hence why KN was able to deliver his findings a few months ago. Allnutt and Littlewood are history. Give the new people a chance - look at the poor guys at Langbar and tell me shareholders here are not fortunate in comparision. Still optomistic here. | loverat
31/1/2010 18:12 | Well looks like we are falling behind schedule again... "Although we have been delayed by the EGM we now hope to circulate the accounts for 2008 in January of next year, holding the next General Meeting in February. This will bring us back in line with our statutory requirements. The 2009 accounts will follow very quickly and we expect to circulate the Tender Offer document shortly afterwards. Once the Tender Offer has been successfully implemented the next step will be to return the Company to a listing, which we hope to complete towards the end of 2010, enabling shares to once more be freely traded." 2007 accounts haven't even been filed at Companies House yet which is a tad surprising. I suppose it's pointless if the 2008 accounts are overdue though. | topvest
31/1/2010 17:49 | When are we expecting the tender offer at 5p? | topvest
21/1/2010 12:47 | Blimey - elements of the ex-management and their associates pop up with threats to sue me and everyone scarpers. Mind you, if you witnessed the LGB stuff and the attempted actions against 69 individuals there, one might be forgiven for keeping a low profile. Hey Pickle - have a read through the last 9,119 posts on here. I have. You may actually find a few more alleged defamations which were made long before I came along. Just shows that there were some people who sussed this outfit out long before the majority of investors did (and apparently Mr Allnutt). Perhaps you could sue them too? (on behalf of 'AIM directors' of course) While you are about it, take another look at the posts you made here.(8286 and 8288) Then again, I suppose those posts are consistent with your unwavering support of those who destroyed shareholder value. | loverat
14/1/2010 19:56 | Well, I see there is a continuation of the usual childish rubbish. No doubt the majority of seasoned ADVFN users will again dismiss your bizarre ramblings of that of a complete and utter fool. Interesting that you and your ex -director friends of LAC not once responded to the comments I made highlighting the deception. Perhaps that was because everything which was said was the truth. Therefore in light of your membership of the charity set up to protect investors against fraud, ADVFN posters may be rather surprised to see that you are providing comfort and support to those who have destroyed shareholder value and are guilty of deception. In contrast to the pathetic rubbish you have posted, every obversation I have made here is the truth and an honestly held opinion. Can you say the same? Go ahead and sue. I have given my reasons for declining your blundering attempt to provide my details. I am sure you and the ex-directors of LAC can raise sufficient funds. On the other hand, perhaps your time may be better used to reflect on the behaviour of your associates over the last few years. Look at the behaviour of your friends and have a think. Is their behaviour compatible with your postion as a director of a charity set up to prevent fraud? Indeed, are your past statements describing yourself as shareholder's champion consistent with your unwavering support of such people? Have the guts to admit you have been wrong, wrong and wrong again. Just grow up for gods sake and stop playing games with peoples lives. | loverat
05/1/2010 22:10 | Oh dear - it looks as if one of a former director's associates has finally emerged from under his rock. I wonder who it could be? | loverat
05/1/2010 17:53 | So what is it Loverat - too scared to give your real name and address for fear of being sued? Where is all that 'courage' that enables you to defame others such as the directors of AIM listed companies? If you have nothing to hide, then stand up and be counted. If you are a coward though, then climb back under the stone you came from. | picked a pickle |
