05/4/2020 15:43 | What is it you are so upset about. The club is a business not a charity. And they have only placed 'some' of their staff on furlough rather than laying them off. The club made a statement last week that they will continue to pay matchday staff in full until the return. According to the FT about half of UK companies are planning to furlough many of their staff because of coronavirus. But hey lets pick out Liverpool for placing 'some' staff on this to protect their jobs. Nobody knows how many or the full facts. Barca, Juventus and Atleti have cut players wages by 70% so what makes you think Liverpool are immune to catastrophic losses? The owners aren't the leaching Glazers, they are simply protecting their business. The outrage is even more comical coming from City fans whose club is run by a country with shocking human rights issues and owners who think they can get away with cooking the books. And Chelsea fans, the worst of the worst. A club run by a murdering tax-dodging Russian crook who can't even get into this country lolll. A senior Russian tax official has reprimanded Chelsea's owner Roman Abramovich for using a loophole in the country's tax legislation to avoid paying 10 billion roubles (£200m) in tax, claiming that the money was used to fund his purchase of the London club. - Russian-Israeli billionaire Roman Abramovich has lost a legal battle against French fiscal authorities after they ruled he undervalued his €100 million (£87m) Riviera retreat to pay less tax. | rb5
05/4/2020 15:11 | As a lifelong supporter since 74, this is a f/disgrace. I can understand clubs like Norwich, Bournemouth etc with very little money. I don't care how much tax they pay. To make it more shameful Man City have said they will not furlough any non playing staff. Will see what the likes off Chelsea and Man Utd do. Can you imagine the chants on the terraces when playing starts again. | kickingking

13/3/2020 08:07 | 2-3 weeks suspension I think. China is getting back to normal now. Apple has reopened all stores and they have closed all those makeshift Hospitals and are saying they have defeated the virus. It will all blow over in a month imo. I think it's fair to all involved they are given the chance to either recover from the virus or self-quarantine and get the all-clear from it in 2 or 3 weeks time. | rb5
13/3/2020 07:55 | Joking aside - you reckon closed doors as of the end of this weekend (which is my guess)? | joe say

12/3/2020 18:05 | lol they will have to cancel the prem | joe moon
12/3/2020 09:46 | Looks like the derby on Monday night will be played with no fans. Sooner we get this title boxed the better, just be our luck the whole season will be made void. Very unlucky last night but we had more than enough chances, the front 3 are totally off the boil at the moment but you have to fancy the CL will be cancelled soon enough anyway. | rb5
