Interesting reading today's PDZ RNS where we now know LIT are funding their £800m+ claim against Poland. Makes me wonder if LIT are involved with any of these other cases? Either way, the fact that Poland is facing so many claims must surely suggest they are at fault and will have to accept defeat sooner or later.

"...Prairie's investment dispute with the Republic of Poland is not unique, with international media widely reporting that the political environment and investment climate in Poland has deteriorated since the change in Government in 2015. As a result, there are a significant number of International Arbitration claims being bought against Poland in the natural resources and energy sectors with damages claims ranging from US$120 million to over US$1.3 billion and includes Bluegas NRG Holding (Gas), Lumina Copper (Copper) and InvEnergy (wind farms)."

Wow!

Prairie Files GBP806 million (equivalent to A$1.5 billion/PLN4.2 billion) Statement of Claim for Compensation Against Poland

"In July 2020, the Company announced it had executed the LFA for US$12.3 million with Litigation Capital Management (LCM). The facility is currently being drawn down to cover legal, tribunal and external expert costs and defined operating expenses associated with the Claim."

Interesting activity here as the market has a ding-dong with the psychological £1 mark.

There is a notable stack of buyers in size at that mark (and a tad either side) on the book at present who are mopping up all sellers there. If they exhaust them, the chart looks interesting and a breakout candidate (chart has an interesting short term consolidation pattern) to re-test that recent high at 110p.

All imo

This can be as long as five years, so it's income can be lumpy but there are no writedowns.'

Crash?! - assumning you meant to post a sarcasm emoji. If not then it's gone from 55p to 98p in 5 months. 78% increase (which you know). Stop spouting nonsense THQ. Makes you look foolish. Back to levels of over 2 years ago with much stronger balance sheet plus fund launched. 4-5% drop does not = a crash.
Pains make to take the time typing this. There will likely be some bumps in the road, however there should be at least 10-20% from here before end of year, maybe more. Good enough in most people's books.
