03/5/2002 16:46 | This retracement is endangering the recent break of the downtrend. It needs to stablise here at 32/33 | energyi

23/4/2002 09:45 | over the last few weeks I have been moving money into the print and publishing sector. Take a look at the charts of WDSW, HHO, FNET, FMR, QRT - they have all bounced in the last month or so. Litho Supplies seems to have bounced too and has just gone through its 200 day moving average. Today, in the Daily Mail, it says this: "Small Cap Distributor of graphic equipment - Litho Supplies - is fighting back. At the recent IPEX trade fair in the Midlands, held every four years, it sold more than £2m of printing equipment. That easily exceeds expectations and analysts now expect profit to recover sharply this year after the 39% decline in 2001. The close was unchanged at 37p. A management buyout @ 145p a share failed in 1999." Might confirm what I feel about the print publishing sector at the moment. Just had a few LTS this morning. Check out the charts in the above printers and publishers - looks interesting imo. CR | cockneyrebel

07/4/2002 20:16 | I saw a spread of 32-37, and bought at 35.5P | energyi
07/4/2002 20:13 | still follow this share after buying in Oct & selling in Jan. made 25% but think I was fortunate to find the dip. Spread on LTS is huge, and always has been as far as I know. Not a traders share until they get a new martketmaker. Pretty sure current price is good value. solid enough to ride out recession & should benefit early from restocking & investment. Will watch for another dip or conracting spread. | jhan66
07/4/2002 19:59 | anyone else following LTS? The chart is intriguing | energyi
06/4/2002 18:38 | I looks like a break above 40P would confirm this stock is on its way up. The IPEX conference starts next week, and some good products could do it. I added to my holdings, buying at 35.5P early in the day. Does seem to show in the trade record for some reason (?) | goldstone
04/4/2002 14:46 | Here's a Link to Litho's IPEX page: Link to the Official IPEX Site: Anyone going? Let us know what the new Litho products look like. Note: They have a few free tickets available thru the Litho website. | energyi
04/4/2002 14:44 | Thanks FFT/NG, The thread is just started. I like the chart and think it looks set to breakout. I have a few shares bought earlier and am considering adding to those. A takeover bid would not be out of the question IMO, but I'm not trying to start a rumor. | energyi
04/4/2002 14:39 | Energyi, didnt realise you had started a new thread. The full year results didnt paint a particularly rosy picture, but if anything is going to happen to this stock, then this is the month... For the risk adventurous, this could be worth dipping into. The following is from the full year results : "In April, we will be exhibiting at the once-every-four-year of the world's printing suppliers at the National Exhibition Centre near Birmingham - the celebrated International Printing Exhibition, abbreviated to IPEX in the trade. We will have a strong presence at the show and will be well supported by our major manufacturers and suppliers. It is hoped that this show will mark the turning point for the industry and indeed our success in capitalising on any revival in orders. Shareholders visiting the show are encouraged to visit our stand. It looks like they are pinning quite a lot on this show, so i would expect a number of rumours (and RNS's ?). Given what has happened to a number of other small stocks in the last few months as band wagons are jumped on, this could make analysis fairly redundant for a while :-) | fft
04/4/2002 14:31 | energyi, any reasons for your optimism, other than the once every 4 years IPEX trade show at the NEC this month ? Are you expecting some orders ? p.s. If you can fix up Ryanair to fly direct instead of spending half my life at Prague airport, i would be very happy. FYI, Lufthansa are doing returns (incl. tax) for 422 Euro to Hong Kong. If only that was the price for a direct ticket to Sofia ! | fft
04/4/2002 14:26 | I've been watching this one for months... after buying a few shares last year. It has bounced off a low (22P) and the Price now looks to be headed higher. Can others help? I want to focus on both technicals and fundamentals, and perhaps go deeper into both than previous threads. CHART: 3 Years CHART: One Year, with Moving Averages ...Litho Supplies PLC... CHART: Close-up and Trading Corporate Snapshot: Shares O/S: 21.79 million Market Cap: £ 7.63 million at 35 P Book Value: £ x.x million or 58.8 P per share P/E : N/A on Historical Earnings of: (see below) Insiders Own: Directors: B.C.Clarke (Chmn), Michael Hammond (CEO), Gerry Mulvaney (Jt.Mging.Dir), Gerry Mitchell (FD) "Litho Supplies PLC reported a slide in pretax profit for the year to end-Dec to 2.04 mln stg from 3.38 mln stg after difficult trading conditions continued throughout the second half. The group said there were few signs of an upturn in its markets although its margins were holding up.." InvestTech Chart: ..and their comment: "Has fallen 65% since the peak on 23 Feb 2001 at 99.50. Has broken the ceiling of the falling trend, which indicates a slower initial falling rate. Poor liquidity (traded 100% of the days, mean 0.91 mill per day) weakens the analysis. 05/10/2001 15:30 | I hear he (M Watson M) last 'tipped' a heatwave for the Sahara .... reports of Nomads acquiring all the inflatible dinghies they can get their mitts on have not been exagerated !!! | dragonhorse
16/7/2001 09:31 | Some already have.....he was a big tipper of this around the 140p level and so it has already gone through his 20% 'stop-loss'.....some | argy2
16/7/2001 09:07 | :-) On that basis, any holders of Deltron Electronics (his latest tip in Shares mag) should get out quick-fast! | chrisg
16/7/2001 09:03 | Yet another Watson-Mitchell winner! | argy2
16/7/2001 08:46 | PUGUGLY - interesting, but I think it was a buy. If it was delayed, it means that if it was a sell, the seller took 11p below the ruling bid price, which seems unlikely. If it was a transaction after the announcement, it would mean the seller received 3p inside the price on a substantial sell just after a profit warning. Again, I'm not sure that its a sell. My guess is a buy. But I could be wrong. Anyone reading this who can own up to the transaction and put us out of our misery??!! Anyway, interesting sea of blue this morning. | chrisg
15/7/2001 21:18 | Chris G: Profit warning was at 16:07 and the big 10,000 trade at 35 went through at 16:14. Was a delayed report as 10x NMS so could have been a sell. What do you think? Agreed the other 6,655 are all buys. Just have to wait until we see the price on Monday. | pugugly |
