Buys at a touch over 2.5p appear to have started just after 1500hrs and followed through near to the close's lowest ask of 2.7p, with 2.67p paid.

Good to see the uptick, which at the close is 8.25% and making for a better day than of late, for tomorrow's business.

Chart shows the share price has reached a plateau around 2.4p - 2.5p that has remained in place since mid-December. Previously it has always been right to buy at about this price. Looks obviously tempting with a GoldBloc launch very close now.

not really PAZZ its only what I expected thats why I told you to get in. I bought a few 100s this morning as it was as cheap as chips.

I see it getting more expensive from now on in, of course I could be wrong but at this stage according to all the carts I dont thing so.

Lionsgold pleased with progress of its Finnish joint venture

A new prospecting licence has been granted to Kalevala, Lionsgold's Finnish joint venture, resulting in a five-fold increase in the combined area held under licence

The company has until 20 June 2018 to complete the initial 200-tonne test sample
Lion has increased its stake in its Finnish joint venture company, Kalevala Gold, to 30% following the injection of additional working capital.

Kalevala has received permission to undertake test processing on an initial 200 tonne sample from the Kuikka gold deposit in order to fine-tune plant recoveries, bulk sampling procedures and protocols for a planned bulk sampling program.

The JV company has until June 20 of this year to complete the test sample after which it will seek permission to conduct a 5,000-tonne bulk sample of the Kuikka deposit.

Lionsgold also revealed that Kalevala has received an additional prospecting licence for an area covering 1,214 square kilometres, which will provide significant coverage of the gold-prospective Kuhmo Greenstone Belt.

"We are pleased to report on the progress of our Finland gold JV company, Kalevala. Approvals have been received for Kalevala to process 200 tonnes of material from our Kuikka high grade gold deposit as part of the commissioning of the gold recovery pilot plant for the planned bulk sampling " .
