18/6/2024 10:19 | The chairman dumping at 16p looked a wise move as the shareprice continues to crater. Wonder if the AGM will bring news of a new placing? | ![]() my retirement fund

28/5/2024 12:59 | An AIM company, heavily indebted (check out the interest cover!) and the chairman dumping stock? What could possibly go wrong? | pictureframe
28/5/2024 12:53 | I would imagine he's done well to find a buyer for that lot at 15.9p. He has still got another 3 million left to sell. | ![]() my retirement fund

23/5/2024 20:14 | Wonder how long it could be before the next placing/bookbuild or close/open offer ? If they want to add another 80M to the turnover, more acquisition are inevitable. | ![]() my retirement fund
21/5/2024 18:08 | Agreed, quite a liberal use of exceptional items in there | ![]() eigthwonder
21/5/2024 13:17 | I'm not following your logic. Also, I suspect some of those expenses have been dressed up to look like exceptionals but will prove to be reaccuring unless they can think of new ways of hiding them. | ![]() my retirement fund
20/5/2024 15:55 | On PE basis agree not a bargain But simply doubling the profit puts it to 20 x | ![]() value viper

20/5/2024 15:19 | Nice to be able to put some numbers to the company to value it. Looks extremely overvalued at 16.5p. So a PE ratio of 55 seems way way to high, what am I missing? | ![]() my retirement fund
20/5/2024 08:35 | Very encouraging results. This hopefully will be known by the wider market soon. Bought in this morning. A well managed company going places and share price fallen to far | ![]() gswredland

18/5/2024 13:39 | The market is changing, for sure. Over a few years I carpeted my entire house from the local guy whose showroom was in a row of very busy local shops; busy enough to have to employ a couple of full time staff. But the owner got to retirement age and promptly shut down as neither of the employees could afford to buy him out. The story is being repeated up and down the country | ![]() eigthwonder
18/5/2024 06:05 | Results Monday ? Some one taking a punt , in the know ?Bodes well ! Hopefully they will show growth continuing With headlam collapsing !! | ![]() s34icknote

15/5/2024 17:18 | I've known Headlam since around the time they listed, 1992, from memory. I've never seen the business struggle to this extent. They stayed robustly profitable through the GFC - all be it with reduced profitability, circa £18 million pre tax. There is something secular at play here, but without personal experience of working in the industry, it's difficult to pinpoint what exactly. Headlam is a distribution model, VCP also manufacturers, so different businesses. | ![]() essentialinvestor
15/5/2024 16:40 | Except Jet2 were genuinely better than Thomas Cook for the customer (service levels) and as a business model (tighter capital base much less in terms of forward commitments etc). HEAD is carrying too big an asset base for the new environment but I am not convinced that LIKE are going to turn the industry upside down as far as their customers are concerned. | ![]() eigthwonder
15/5/2024 16:32 | Reminds me of jet2 and Thomas cook Like vs headlam Where do Victoria fit amongst them ? | ![]() s34icknote |
