Can sell for more than you can buy

I get the feeling someone is mopping up sells in background as market makers have been acting very strange, although no one is selling really

Very quiet here considering the transformation taking place but quiet stocks are usually the best

What takes someone of this calibre to LBE ? Outstanding contacts, deal making and described as an industry legend in Malcys recent write up. With us already being approached by a good number of potential partners her experience will be invaluable. I expect further deals in the pipelie in bringing someone of this calibre onboard.

On seal and gas chimneys/leakage etc - it's worth reading up on the links for better understanding of Marjoram, Lang Lebah and Kasawari in respect of analogues to Kertang. These were provided in slide 11. All 3 are in development and sour. They're provided for a reason ie to read further and understand what we might have here.

Sources were -

' 1 Kasawari image from “Geophysical Applications in Malaysian Basins”. PETRONAS, 2019, in co-operation with EAGE

2 Lang Lebah image from “Unravelling an abandoned giant in Central Luconia Province, offshore Sarawak Malaysia – success story of "Lang Lebah”. Aquilah Amir Jamalullail et. al. The Leading Edge, August 2020

3 Marjoram image from “Top seal integrity assessment using seal properties and leakage phenomena”. Foschi, M. & Van Rensbergen,'

Marjorams gas chimney actually hid a multi tcf gas field.

"The Marjoram Gas Field is a multi-trillion cubic feet reservoir obscured by a large gas chimney" Lengthy article but extremely well worth it when you get to the detail and explanation of the seals, overburden, amplitude anomailes (such as Kertang) and gas chminey.

"The main conclusions are as follows

1. The Marjoram Gas Field is a multi-TCF gas field obscured by a large gas chimney composed of 10s of amplitude anomalies and consistent with the definition of vertical anomaly cluster
.

2. Detailed analysis of the vertical anomaly cluster, using centroid analysis, reveals a precise pathway for gas leakage across the overburden
232;.

3. Integration of the geophysical observations with pressure test data shows that mode I dilation of a fracture induced by the 455 m gas column in the reservoir is responsible for leakage.

"The development of the Rosmari Marjoram gas field is significant as we estimate reserves to be just under 3 trillion cubic feet that will support a revival of gas production in Sarawak. With an estimated 800 million cu ft/d of production, this will contribute to more than 5 million tons of LNG per year," Zhi Xin Chong, Director of South and Southeast Asia for Gas at S&P Global Commodity Insights, said separately.

Shell starts development of Rosmari-Marjoram’s onshore plant

21 Sep 2023 (From Shell)

Bintulu − Sarawak Shell Berhad (SSB), a subsidiary of Shell plc, marks the start of the onshore plant development for the Rosmari-Marjoram project with a ground-breaking event in Bintulu.

Siituated 220 kilometres (km) off the coast of Bintulu, off the coast of Sarawak, Malaysia. The fields will be primarily powered by renewable energy. .

The project comprises a deep-water subsea facility, a remotely operated offshore platform, and an onshore gas plant. It also includes one of the longest sour wet gas offshore pipelines.

Divmad they sort of answered that in the presentation, they would rather to do some sort of deal to bring in cash on the back of DROs, offtakes etc

That was one thing I took away from the presentation they do not want to go to market as they understand just how bad it is, which was a refreshing response

I think the DRO questions as the directors said will be answered once is all signed off.
But imo most likely will be some sort of debt funding or cash windfall from the 2A farm-out for any development.
"We are good for the time being in terms of cash.".
cash level is good for next 9 months "and that gives us enough time to achieve a farm-out " as clearly said in an answer to a question listen from 32 mins to 33 mins here;

What will be the cost implications to LBE of successfully being awarded one or more DROs shortly? How much cash does Lbe have currently? Seems there will have to be a placing sometime in H2, but when and how much? After the DRO rns I guess.

I thought it was good comment too as he clearly meant they will be happy to hand over the operator role to a a larger farminee than continue as lbe is a small lean company. Lots of interest in this block and farm out should not be a problem. G Murphy is already doing her magic.

Details on the DROs to come in the near future. Kertang exhibiting most of what they want to see thus far. Importantly, two distinct areas of prospectivity within 2A. One which contains smaller prospects in the West/Southwest of the block and the Kertang Cluster which has Kertang lookalikes including one that looks roughly 40% the aerial extent of Kertang, to its North. So plenty of prospectivity in the area.Looking at various opportunities, both within Malaysia and surrounding countries. Mentioned in Q&A at the end they would be open to buying production aswell, if the right financing solution can is in place.Overall a brilliant presentation.Cash

Answered:
- Drill target date 2025/2026. Rig available (good news). Participate and subject to scheduling within the existing rig schedule. Time, and cost, certainty.
- Farm-out process to be managed in-house (via use of consultant specialists)
- Pre-emption: yes, but unlikely.
- Obviously LBE cannot afford, nor has technical expertise, to drill the well therefore farm-out leaves them open to being "squeezed". Let's hope there's a lot of juice!
