One year on from our sudden rise - FEP now just under 30% lower than it was prior to the rise, PXP currently 250% above its level..

time will tell - the gas and oil ain't going anywhere and hopefully the Chinese will recognise that military force would yield a massive trade embargo, whose impact would dwarf any gains.

.........and they are reading the very same news as we do (and most of it originating from the Phillies). Strange. ;-)

On a positive note;

PXP's current uptrend continues and they seem set to have another go at breaking the recent resistance at 34Php....

Dr N: sorry, I cannot agree that the PSE has it right and AIM completely wrong. Proximity to the action means very little in such a complex situation, in my view:

You see, I'm not to sure I agree with that. The Phillies are obviously a lot closer to the action, however the likely holders over there would include those in the know or those with an ear to government and economy swinging or not, one would have expected a drop on the news (it was a double edged sword after all), yet nothing. This is the light that gives me a little hope and even though it now looks far away, most Aim oilers are years away from production and news re a partnership could come at anytime between now and 2014. ;-)

That may be more a reflection in the PSE of the fact that the Philippine economy is performing better than it has for a generation.
