21/12/2009 08:14 | so how do you propose a deal will be done 'fresh air' | solarno lopez
21/12/2009 07:55 | Not in my view, if that were to be the case the directors would also be dilutited away.!! | tara7
21/12/2009 02:32 | dilution will be too great so only the nimble will profit when the deal is leaked if there is a deal at all | solarno lopez
20/12/2009 21:01 | 2010 looks like being the year the big deal is done, whole company still worth just £270,000.!! | tara7
20/12/2009 18:26 | I brought a nice lump of these shares last week | 1chipdog
01/12/2009 12:36 | trying to buy 10,000 at 4p. A hefty-top up of the shares issued me by safeland originally. apparently the 4 mm's are quoting different prices, one is 3.5p to 5.5p, and I am advised that I can expect to be looking at a spread of 1.5p or even 2p as often as not. Nice clean gamble this one. If they do something, quite likely a multi bagger, or if they don't, quite possibly a waste of money. Excellent...a buy at 3.74p. Market a little more fluid than the trader supposed. Even a slight chance of finding a live dealing quote online by this pm he wondered. I go for Tara's analysis on this one. It's quite likely that sometime the Lip's will come through on the stated strategy. The overall context seems to be the same as when the shares were valued 5 or 10 times higher...the Lipmans say they mean to do something with it. And they will..or they won't..yet. | dupree
22/11/2009 17:34 | Well done you, what fun.!!!!!!!! | tara7
22/11/2009 15:51 | After tara's tip on OPF, only one horse I could back today. It romped home at 5.5 to one. The horse? Love of tara! 2.45 towcester. | barnetpeter
20/11/2009 12:44 | Buying, [i think] on plus this lunchtime | tara7
19/11/2009 08:54 | Yes, I was surprise that my shares were taken up so easily - does point to someone wanting them. Good luck! | topvest
19/11/2009 05:52 | topvest, sad to see you go, Now, lets see who the buyer is, and more to the point is this the start of something big. Wins [the MM] was rock solid on the bid yesterday that points to someone wanting stock. As to why the trust only sold part of its holding , and as to why it went through at 3.5p not 2p, time will tell. | tara7
18/11/2009 21:26 | The Directors' Dealing Trust (formerly Eaglet) sold at about 3.5p; be interesting to see who the buyer is. I sold mine today though, when no news was forthcoming. Got back over 90% of my original investment which isn't bad for a poor investment. The Safeland shells have all been disappointing. There is scope for this to be the one that sets the world on fire, but got tired of waiting when you can pretty much get your money back. Probably a mistake. Good luck to those remaining. | topvest
18/11/2009 17:36 | Well, we now know a tad more. The shares changed hands at 3.5p not 1p, or 2p or 3p. Thats very good news as it forms a baseline, for the stock. Something is going on but what.?? | tara7
18/11/2009 10:56 | If u google map it then go to street view it it a post office address. N2 0FW this it the new addy post code. | william-just
18/11/2009 10:02 | I ask myself this, must be good news, office, let or sold. [safeland] | tara7
18/11/2009 09:26 | RNS is out, moved office, so has Safeland. | tara7
18/11/2009 08:01 | Thanks for your time and points, pop in and see us now and again. | tara7
18/11/2009 07:58 | ok, my last post since i've spent too much time here.. best of.. saffy.. | safman
18/11/2009 07:49 | Safman, point taken, however, this looks like a stock you would never be happy with, while to me it is just the type of stock i love. Your posts are just like the ones i had from other investors when i posted OPF at 9p this year, and PXS at 1p, and CUS at .03p. One has to look at what Leo COULD do, that is 10, 20, 100 bag over time with the right deal. Just the mere fact it is trading says a fair amount about the company, after all why not just shut shop.? Good luck in any event. | tara7
18/11/2009 07:41 | and now its a cash shell with liabilities and no assets apart from their investment in safeland that means its not a cash shell in total. Seriously, your rationale is incredibly flawed and based on a ramp no more no less.. the ONLY thing going for this is the low mkt cap, having said that make sure you're not the one left holding the baby.. saffy.. | safman
18/11/2009 07:36 | This stock was placed at 14p, and went to 25p based on the directors past record. | tara7
18/11/2009 06:32 | Mryesyes, shells can do rather well over time, not long ago the city valued this at just under ten times todays price, WHY.? | tara7
17/11/2009 23:08 | for ucks sake, this is hardly going to make you rich with the spread, the MM's have simply adjusted it upwards, its a shell worth no more than a second hand Bentley, and about as good an investment!!! | mryesyes
17/11/2009 21:23 | Also not sure any large holder would sell now, what would be the point.?? If you paid 25p for them. | tara7
17/11/2009 21:21 | Wins were on the bid at the end and may have been the ones who sold the shares in the first place. Works like this, Wins sell short at 3.5p but being on the bid they are first call to any sellers. they then offer say 2p. However that is just an idea not fact. | tara7 |
