Laptop - Yup, I took advantage of 4p at CASP and I am taking advantage of 4p here. I think it could be a really good year for LEK next year. Sow the seeds now and reap the rewards later imo.

Same as I have been doing since 2007 - buy low, sell high.

Still not sold a single CASP share though! A long way to go there - £'s

LEK could also go back to 10p or 20p but that's the gamble at the end of the day. You could risk 10k and make it into 30k or 60k or get wiped out. I'll take those odds, after all it's a low cost oil producing company

Same could be said about CASP when it dropped to 4p and now nearly 11p

It's tempting to bargain hunt but so was Gulfsands Petroleum and that did a zero.

Something doesn't feel right at this price. Hoping for holders here that the market is over reacting rather than something being amiss.

Levy1 - They can't. We could sue the Administrator.

LEK is worth at least 10p end of.

If they get OPL310 back - 20p.

Strong buy.

Hm, find it difficult to grasp the money is gone since the asset is still held by the estate and the transaction is subject to government approval? How can they dispose of deposit payments for assets which have not been transferred to the buyer?

If placed in an escrow account then yes, if not no.

Regarding the lack of approval for the purchase of the OPL310 share from Afren:
I see from the latest report that LEKOIL has paid 13 mill usd to the Afren estate as deposit for the asset.

In the event that no approval of transfer is ownership is given, will this be refunded to LEKOIL by the estate?

sleeveen - I think some pretty negative results are already built into the price here. I think they will give clarity and expect to see a nice bounce and up-trend after they come out.

Not sure why people are so negative at the moment? Company was profitable six months ago - what has changed?

Looks like they are trying to hold it down, maybe force some to sell on the cheap and then shoot up the share price to catch folk out. Happens all the time. I see the results RNS was this time last week...Soooooo results must be very close
