ngms. I doubt Sterling Bank would have allowed the new debt facility of $ 17.7 million if they weren't fully supportive of Lek Oil and it's BoD. If you have any further concerns, could I suggest you directly contact : Alfred Castaneda Investor Relations + 44 20 3434 5800 then advise his thoughts on yours..

Well what I read is: the press alleged that they used a Rig from a mate of a board member that wasn't fit for use, lol

I do not read the press...I read RNSs. And what I read I like. I like, I buy. I am a simple trader, lol

So, if this is it, no point of sharing it, cos there still is no substance into it. Just blablabla from journalists

Well here it is.
The reason early stage E&Ps like LEK borrow to buy producing / near producing assets is to keep the gravy train rolling.

In this case LEK have funded development of what can only be a marginal field given Nigeria is one of the most expensive areas to operate in.

To date the project is over a year late, the press alleged that they used a Rig from a mate of a board member that wasn't fit for use and had been condemned by the authorities.

I'd love to see what the IRR is on this one but I'm sure it will get masked in the accounts.

The reason I'm in Lek is for the appraisal of Obe. I don't trust the BoD anymore than I trusted Afren and my records on the boards about that one way before everyone realised they were going down the swanny.

ngms27:
Another professional ignorant who doesn't seem to see what's on the front of his eye...

The Otakikpo is a money maker and this money will be use to develop other assets and repay debt much quicker.

Reading ngms27 post it feels like he trying to slag oil Co is for his own personal agenda.

THERE IS NO SUBSTANCE IN THAT COMMENT, ELABORATE OR SHUT IT...

Production from Otakikpo breaks even at around $25 per barrel so even at current low oil prices it is profitable – its net present value (NPV10) even at a $40 oil price is $85.2 million, rising to $365.3 million at $80 per barrel. -

A la maison, well done for maintaining a positive approach.
Your posts are well researched and informative.
Lekoil are focused and committed to establishing the company as a leading Oil producer in Nigeria. It's that simple.
After the demise of Afren, this company should do well.
So, don't get concerned about negative posts.

That was nice of you, thanks!
It's all about research and patience. I trade as well as invest. Made a killing with CHAL this morning. Bought last knight at 22.50 sold at 27.25 today. £5k in less than 24h, lol.
I am loaded with LEK, nearly £10k and the more I buy the more I research. The more I research the more I buy.

PS: What negative post? I only read whats interest me, not children gibberish, lol
The man has very deep trauma. I call it the gamblers trauma. Blaming others for his personal issues.

Of course. They've been hit by terrorism. Producers have put a hold on production. Oil price went down. Now is the time! Same with shares, buy the low sell the high.
