(the "Company")

Director Shareholding

The Company has been informed today that the Chairman of Leisureplay Plc, Mr
Philip Reid, has acquired 9,970,000 ordinary 5p shares ("ordinary shares") at
an average price of 3.1p per share. Mr Reid's resultant total holding in the
Company is 9,970,000 ordinary shares representing 9.97% of the issued share
capital.

The Company was also informed today that Mr Jonathan Hall, a Director of the
Company, has acquired 5,000,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 3.0p per
share. Mr Hall's resultant total holding in the company is 5,000,000 ordinary
shares representing 5% of the issued share capital.

The shares detailed above have been purchased from Resurge PLC.
