06/7/2004 11:53 | Leisureplay (LPY) * - these highly speculative shares have been wonderful performers over the last four days. Last night they closed up another 1.25p at 10.625p, that 13.3% rise on the day was after 23,023,616 shares were traded. A staggering movement in such a short time frame and beating my 10p target of last Wednesday when I recommended buying the shares in Terry Ramsden's new vehicle. The subsequent 260% rise will undoubtedly be bettered in due course. I now understand that a further wave of US buyers are moving into the shares and are unfinished in their business. Already there are whispers that the shares will touch 20p fairly soon - who knows? What will be interesting will be the announcement of exactly what Terry Ramsden will be doing with the Company. That will not come out until after the EGM to vote through the increase of equity as Ramsden and his boarding party alight upon the Company. I understand that a couple of UK and overseas institutions are part of the party. I emphasise that these shares are extremely speculative, even so that will not stop them from going a great deal higher as Ramsden's plans unfurl. | leewink7 | |
06/7/2004 11:49 | If you look at EVO's movements for the last few days they have slowly ticked up the bid and havn't budged from it once. | james 2 |
