Successful Placing Raising £1 million

Legendary Investments PLC (AIM: LEG) is pleased to announce that it has raised GBP 1 million (before expenses), by way of an oversubscribed placing of 333,333,333 ordinary shares of 0.10 pence nominal value each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 0.3 pence per new Ordinary Share. The shares were placed with a range of institutional and private investors.

Legendary will use the funds to take advantage of new suitable investment opportunities as and when they arise. Having already made investments, some of which have generated returns of several times the initial outlay, Legendary is currently evaluating several opportunities, including in the technology sector.

Funds will also be used to fund the continued development of existing investments as appropriate and increase stakes in existing investments as opportunities to do so arise and where appropriate. Funds will also be utilised for working capital (including the paying down of debt, as appropriate).

How have I missed this enthralling , albeit somewhat confusing thread up until now?
As far as I can make out , it’s about Professor Portaloo and his girlfriend Ridethebus , who both believe in legends. Unfortunately , the professor believes in them a bit too much and is convinced that he’s under constant attack from trolls.
Ridethebus is the sort of shouty , sweary lady that you see drinking cider on the streets. If anyone questions her fabulous wealth , she throws empty cider cans at them. She also gets very annoyed if anyone points out that her “research̶1; is actually just some Google searches.
Her Level 2 is also the stuff of legends. It always seems to break down when anyone asks for some live data.
They both seem to be obsessed with collecting red ticks in the same way that Sonic the hedgehog collects coins.
All in all it’s a blockbuster waiting to be filmed in trilogy form by Peter Jackson.

The opportunity presented this morning has allowed me to purchase an extra 1.4m to top up my holdings.
