31/5/2018 19:07 | Great article, VS really gaining traction with NHS trusts now | techtrend
31/5/2018 18:48 | Following on from that article, I expect the take up of "The Edge 4 Health" to be speededup now to more trusts, and be ahead of schedule by the year end. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 16:34 | Nice one fatfish. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 16:09 | just doubled up on that bit of news | fatfish
31/5/2018 15:27 | Virtualstock, a leading provider of digital supply chain solutions, announces today that it has become a corporate sponsor of the Health Care Supply Association (‘HCSA’) That’s absolutely MASSIVE news. I hate MASSIVE news, I just hate it. Off in a huff me. | michaelsadvfn
31/5/2018 14:48 | Huge news that. Corporate sponsorship will keep VS's name firmly in the frame every time the HCSA announces anything, and put's VS plum in line for the forthcoming contracts too. LEG are as undervalued as Bernard Manning's supreme gags. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 13:39 | david, if indeed VS open an office in the B.A.(that’s the Big Apple, not the Ba Armas like), do you think you’ll be invited, again, to co-run it? Just an idea like, if you co-run it you could slyly avoid doing anything and let the other geezer do all the work ;-) Just how many telex machines will they be leasing? Any idea chum? Just wondering like. | michaelsadvfn
31/5/2018 13:02 | And all this for under £4m? Do me a favour. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 12:59 | And a final part:- RTIH: What's the best question about your company asked of you recently by a.) an investor and b.) a customer? EB: We often get asked if, given the wider application of our product, we will look to expand to other sectors beyond retail and healthcare. The answer is a resounding yes. As it stands, we are already in conversations with a major media company and are looking into defence, pharma and education too. It’s clear that the benefits of our technology should not be restricted to retail; supply chain optimisation bears significant opportunities across the board. Moreover, the truth is that the levels of digitalisation are highly inconsistent across sectors, with retail often leading the charge. Other industries might not yet realise the value technology can bring to them, and may it be our mission to help level the playing field. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 12:56 | Another part of the interview with Ed Bradley. Remember this was only six weeks ago:- RTIH: What has been the industry reaction thus far? EB: Fantastic! We have focussed mainly on the top tier of the retail market. The Edge has already been adopted by Tesco, John Lewis, Sainsbury’s Argos, Dixons Carphone, The Kingfisher Group and we have a number of other large retailers coming onboard this year. Our clients are thrilled with the service and value we provide them, as we help tackle their pain points and drive business. For example, one of our major retail clients doubled their sales coming through non-stocked inventory from using The Edge. And beyond the company-wide benefits like uplift in revenue, The Edge also makes the lives of our product users a lot easier (for both retailers and suppliers), given how intuitive the platform is to use. The speed that we can deploy the system hugely outpaces traditional methods of systems integration and in-house development. In addition, The Edge can rapidly and easily connect to any type of system and thousands of suppliers. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 12:47 | Even at 1p, the whole of LEG with all it's interests will only be valued at £40m. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 12:43 | On the healthcare side, we expect that our partnership with NHS SBS will see the adoption of The Edge across a further 60 NHS trusts. that's confidence ..... we '''EXPECT''' IT'S IN THE BAG ALREADY... it's a matter of dotting the I AND crossing the T | livup967
31/5/2018 12:36 | Lol Phil. I'm expecting it all to come to fruition within the next 12 months. I think we are all well versed on VS and it's future potential, I'm concentrating on IBS now, and awaiting news of the first deal. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 12:35 | Many thanks liv. I can't think of another company that have expanded that quick recently. I wouldn't be surprised if another Nick Jenkins didn't come in and take a strategic stake in VS. The big worry is they could be taken out before the real benefits, ie NASDAQ float, far more large retailers and European healthcare come in. Will be very interesting to see the next valuation of VS. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 12:31 | As I've said before Prof - I just hope I remain alive long enough to see the "fruits" of my patience here, otherwise it will be for the benefit of my "beneficiaries"! | philmiboots
31/5/2018 12:29 | Virtualstock, in my view, is already much bigger than any of us imagine, and it's value could well now be in excess of £200-300m. What other company would grow their staff from 20 to 110 in just two years? These experts were taken on because there was the work to do, and the future work and prospects were noted by the senior management. Bradley here has perfectly outlined the future prospects for VS, and yet the market continues to value LEG at under £4m. This has to be one of if not THE cheapest and most undervalued stock on the whole of the market. That statement will be proved, I believe, this year. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 12:29 | nice one P/P on that VS TWEET... can't be long now for an update ... ZAF DID SAY he will be working harder this year ... getting the MEDIA machine turning and more regular update in his last video... so we will see what happen.... any good news at these levels will see us fly quickly... it's always good to see you post LINKS and TWEETS ...WHILE WE WAIT... REGARDS... | livup967
31/5/2018 12:21 | A snippet from an interview with Ed Bradley, Virtualstock, from last month:- RTIH: What can we expect to see from Virtualstock over the next 12 months? EB: Virtualstock is growing fast on several fronts and the team has already grown from 20 to 110 employees over the last two years. This year, we envision accelerated growth in retail, in part thanks to our strategic partnerships with IBM and Wincanton – both within the UK and internationally. Indeed, Virtualstock is due to open a New York office this summer and we’re already in discussions with a number of US retailers. We’re also in advanced conversations with our first (leading) German retailer. On the healthcare side, we expect that our partnership with NHS SBS will see the adoption of The Edge across a further 60 NHS trusts. | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 12:05 | Tweeted just now from Virtualstock:- Could be the first hint of their German interest. A new study shows a quarter of German companies claim to be fully digitised – five times more than in the #UK! If your #retail business is yet to start #digitaltransformati | professor pettigrew
31/5/2018 10:59 | The trouble with quietly accumulating is that you can't tell anyone about it. I intend to noisily accumulate. | bionicdog |
