29/12/2017 10:19 | having done extensive research, I conclude this is a right old dog, and I say that with huge amounts of fiscal acumen. | professor boxing day
29/12/2017 10:08 | Nobody mentioned OTC or Small Cap. All of no consequence though, for the LEG PI will never see any benefit. | mudbath
29/12/2017 10:05 | Did I say that I was unaware ? Just thought I would let someone else respond. I have no problem with VS or its potential. It is LEG management that is the problem,as witnessed by their IBS claims. Just wait till LEG have the "opportunity" to increase their stake in IBS based on that erroneous 10mill valuation. On that occasion you will realise that the PI here is being right royally shafted. | mudbath
29/12/2017 10:04 | What you have failed to mention mudbath (unsurprisingly) is that there is a facility for smaller companies to list on NASDAQ - a completely separate market. I paste below the paragraph from the legal requirements. Nobody here knows what VS are going to achieve in the next 9-12 months, but at the moment they are gaining traction with the NHS. Aside from the line about "300 shareholders", VS look to fulfil all requirements for a listing. NASDAQ SmallCap Market Listing Requirements Small capitalization companies can be listed on the NASDAQ SmallCap Market if they have either: 1.Net tangible assets of $4 million, 2.$50 million market capitalization, or 3.Net income in the latest fiscal year or two of the past three fiscal years of $750,000. In addition, these companies must have a public float of $1 million, a market value of the public float of $5 million, a minimum of 300 shareholders, and at least three market makers. Also, these companies must have an operating history of at least one year or $50 million market capitalization. The initial minimum bid price is $4.00 and the same ongoing minimum bid price and peer review requirements as are set forth above apply. | professor pettigrew
29/12/2017 09:54 | Ok mudbath. That's fine, so you're saying that something you don't know doesn't meet a set of criteria. | soupdragon55
29/12/2017 09:41 | Cheers mudbath. Can you tell me VS earnings for the past 3 years? | soupdragon55
29/12/2017 09:18 | Take your pick Soupdragon55. NASDAQ listing criteria Listing Standard No. 1 The company must have aggregate pre-tax earnings in the prior three years of at least $11 million, in the prior two years at least $2.2 million, and no one year in the prior three years can have a net loss. Listing Standard No. 2 The company must have a minimum aggregate cash flow of at least $27.5 million for the past three fiscal years, with no negative cash flow in any of those three years. In addition, its average market capitalization over the prior 12 months must be at least $550 million, and revenues in the previous fiscal year must be $110 million, minimum. Listing Standard No. 3 Companies can be removed from the cash flow requirement of Standard No. 2 if the average market capitalization over the past 12 months is at least $850 million, and revenues over the prior fiscal year are at least $90 million. 29/12/2017 08:20 | Good morning ! david, last year your portfolio rose 17% to £2.4m, has this year also been a corker? Just asking like. | michaelsadvfn
29/12/2017 07:24 | A freezing wet morning to all genuine LEGGIE's. Roll on Spring. KK - agree, but I did a look back at quite a few of the floats recently, and most companies that made it to NASDAQ were actually loss-making, but growing significantly. Most small, but growing, companies make losses initially, and sometimes for years, but looking at VS you have to bear in mind the "potential", for that it what will power growth. I think we have an exciting and interesting mix of investments here now, Zaf has worked pretty hard behind the scenes. Underpinning my faith, particularly in VS, was the NotionCapital tie-up as I have said before they have an excellent track record and are not to be scoffed at. Yes, we could all do with more news and more contracts (at VS), but Rome wasn't built in a day, and despite a pathetic attempt elsewhere to denigrate it, the 1p party in my view is still firmly ON. | professor pettigrew

28/12/2017 21:56 | There is no way that VS will meet the criteria necessary to list on NASDAQ in 2018 or 2019. | mudbath
