Hopefully, lend, it's made you stop and think about buying a bucketload more LEG!

I agree PP, I’ve always been of the view that it’s all about VS also, which largely remains the case, the IBS matter just makes me stop and think somewhat.

If you look at earlier posts lmaf i for one concur with you but also see as do others such as P P the pragmatic side of things i.e. LEG going on to hit 1p+

In any case lend, Zaf's 37% may have been a split between doing some consultancy work, and his own money to buy some shares. May have been one of the "seed funders".

He's done nothing wrong or illegal, and LEG stand to benefit greatly from their stake.

Remember in the RNS, Zaf quite specifically stated the synergies between the two companies, and that it would "quickly accrete value" for LEG. It's a potential cash cow and we'll own between 11-12% of the commissions received.

I find it highly exciting and potentially game-changing for LEG along with the prospects for VS.

I do see your point lend, but until August 6 according to many on here, LEG was "all about VS".

Now, we have something different to sink our teeth into. As I say, I couldn't give a hoot about Zaf's 37% stake. The 11.1% (or 12%) stake that LEG hold is my only interest. I don't hold shares in IBS (or Zaf), but I hold plenty in LEG.

I think we need to direct all our energies to LEG and get behind Zaf all the way.

I have invited him to the 1p party by the way!

Is it just me here who isn’t particularly happy with the 37:12 split? had it been the other way round it might be ok but surely if you are paid by the shareholders to go looking for transactions then those transactions shouldn’t then be split between leg and personal stakes

I'm expecting the necessary licences and permissions for IBS to be announced within a fortnight.

That's not a throwaway remark either. Some friends (ex-neighbours) in NZ (Auckland) tell me things like this usually take around 3 months. The IBS news was announced on August 7th, so reckon it'll be wrapped up by the end of November.

Exactly cpap man - my point all along.

It's human nature to be a tad greedy, his 37% he'll want to work hard for him.

Don't forget investment banking is his forte, so he's in the driving seat along with the rest of the IBS board. He will already have contacts in NZ, he just wouldn't have got involved if he weren't 100% convinced it's a winner.

I'm so convinced at the potential here, I'll stick my neck out and say LEG could be one of the biggest risers on the market in 2018.

Ok PP thanks - never been to the offices so wouldn't know? E-mail and tel no's are u/c

lmaf does have a point - i'm sure that Zaf will say that he found the deal etc....but he is paid etc by LEG

Surprised that the NOMAD agreed but then again i guess if it is fully diclosed?

On a positive note with his large personal stake in IBS Zaf has a real interest in making IBS a MEGA success story!

cpap man - bit behind the curve there me old mate.

They've moved to smaller offices (and much cheaper too) in Kingsbury.

You only need a room, a desk and a phone (and a laptop).

Mega bucks coming to LEG eventually.

Of course Zaf is paid a salary by LEG. It's his job to run the outfit, and source investments.

Well put there Gotto.

Everything will be unveiled in due course, I think the IBS story is the most exciting since VS, and it is my sincere view now that the 1p party will be held in New York in less than 12 months.

These are very exciting times for LEG. Everything is pointing in the right direction. There will be a massive re-rate here eventually, the charts are looking positive, the outlook is very positive for VS and to me, IBS is the icing on the cake.

Legendary Investments could be completely transformed within 12 months.

IBS really could be MEGA which is obviously excellent news for LEG but i do hear you lmaf....Zaf and his side kick are paid etc by LEG so it would have been better if the 49% all went to LEG

Perhaps e-mail and/or call Zaf and simply ASK THE QUESTION[s]?!?!?

Bottom line is it's a promising acquisition for no outlaw and plenty of revenue prospects and opens up finance avenues for leg. All good , you are going round in circles.

My belief is that the 37% is derived from an understanding between zaf and his IBS business venture co-party agreeing that zaf/leg can hold the 49% (37%+11%) minority stake leaving the 51% controlling proportion to the the other party I.e founder. My understanding anyway

It does seem a conflict of interest ifLEG pay for his office. LEG pay for his travel expenses and LEG pay for his salary.

A man I met in the pub a fortnight ago asked me for £10,000 so he could start up a company.
Last week he pursuaded me to exchange the £10,000 for a 10% stake in his company which he valued at £10,000,000.
So my initial stake is now worth £1,000,000 !

Last night he asked me for another £10,000 !
It's a Win Win Win situation !

Very comfortable indeed lend.

I don't care what Zaf owns, how much money he has, or whether he has two heads.

The important thing to remember is that he wants to line his pockets (who doesn't?) via IBS. The more he achieves in that direction, the better for LEG.

I just don't understand this attitude towards his 37% - who gives a toss?

LEG have virtually been handed $1m from virtually nothing. Now isn't the time for petty jealousy about Zaf's financial affairs.

Good luck to him, and good luck to us. It's in his interest for IBS to succeed, and it will - big time.

Thanks for all that info chaps - why is there so much smoke and mirrors with everything (not just LEG)? Rarely is anything straightforward/obvious, to me at least!

Talking of which - where does this 37% come from anyway? Why not 10% or 51%? Is it just a number plucked out of thin air or is it related to some "factor" eg proportion of cash investment, number of Rolls Royce's owned, what?

As I say PP its minor. I'm just reporting a fact, the same way I would if they'd increased by 1%
