19/9/2016 12:55 | I think the big danger here is that Zaf has effectively shot himself in the foot where further fundraising is involved. Those who subscribed at the 0.3p placing price have been left high and dry at the moment, with a 33% loss, and nothing positive (apart from paying off the debt) being done with their cash. I've no doubt it will eventually be invested wisely, but the market will be very shy of subscribing again if LEG need more funding. If it had been me, I would have target identified what I thought was a first-class investment first, entered into preliminary talks with the company, then launched the fundraising. I think we have to let th is current selling spree go through first, and the dust settle, before making any more decisions. I can't see them falling much further because as RTW1 has pointed out, the intrinsic value is there, and at this current level we are trading below book value. | professor pettigrew

19/9/2016 12:53 | No bounce from here and it's 00000.15 they go..... | mrphiljones
19/9/2016 12:50 | well im locked in now, for however long it takes, does point to the fact there wont be a placing any time soon, he didnt do anything to pump the price, maybe he s trying to get it down, so his pals can top up, was a complete waste of time, never been a fan of his interview ability, speaking in riddles and bad ones at that!!! | nocky44
19/9/2016 12:48 | The market really didn't like that. Perhaps with hindsight, it would have been better had Zaf declined an interview for now, and rescheduled when he/LEG had something positive to announce. On the BIG plus side though, nothing was negative, it's just the prolonged wait for the positive news that we know is out there that's hacking people off. The one thing I didn't like (or understand) is his reticence to push forward LEG's plans to increase their VS stake. It appeared as though the £1m raised just paid off the debt and is now sitting there doing nothing. Overall though, these still remain a screaming BUY in my view. Beaufort have valued VS at £179m so that says a lot, and they still have a 0.5p target. | professor pettigrew

19/9/2016 12:46 | Mug traders getting rinsed and selling st a loss . Good riddance . | ride the wave 1
19/9/2016 12:45 | just need to concentrate on the 7% of 179 million valuation of VS, which is double current market cap | nocky44
19/9/2016 12:44 | He didn't like my questions lol . Nothing's changed - it's still a strong buy | ride the wave 1
19/9/2016 12:44 | Why in God's name did he agree to be interviewed if he had absolutely nothing new to say? Pathetic. The falling share price says it all. | philmiboots
19/9/2016 12:39 | More harm than good IMHO..... | mrphiljones

19/9/2016 12:32 | Full house for you RTW1. I can understand where Zaf is coming from, but I must say to be fair, on balance he's coming across as being a little bit evasive. It seems as though we are going to have a bit of a wait to hear more positive news. Probably some disappointment may show itself now, but if you don't mind the wait, as most sensible investors shouldn't then it does continue to present buying opportunities. Let's see what the market reaction is once the interview is through. Well done on the questions. | professor pettigrew
19/9/2016 12:30 | THE SHELFORD GROUP ZAF !!! | ride the wave 1

19/9/2016 12:26 | Well done RTW1 - quite a lot of your questions being aired. Phil - I know what you mean, but just now he alluded to increasing the stake in VS, and I fully understand what he meant, in that you cannot just go out and pick up shares. I think he is being quite canny actually, and still believe there is a hell of a lot going on behind the scenes here. | professor pettigrew
19/9/2016 12:24 | Wasn't what he said; he said that they would only release news if agreed by the company in which they have investments as they have their own PR to manage. Coming over as a considered, cautious and steady businessman IMHO. | tini5 |
