I take your point and wouldn't argue, but feel they are responsive to the little guys so whilst we may only have catapults they may well listen to our request for a dividend.

The Swedes seem determined to keep the price low here for their own reasons so I don't think they'll pay a dividend. They treat this company as their own personal fiefdom. They've made two disasterous investments with the cash and may make more.

All that said i'd still think about buying back in in a small way if the price drops back nearer 20p.

My gut instinct tells me they have tremendous potential and focusing on the sales team seems the correct decision, but I want to see a dividend and that is what I will be calling for across the table at our upcoming AGM

Yes I agree that things are going quite well but when and if that will translate into an improved shareprice is anybodies guess.

Ah, thread necromancy. Didn't spot the date was quite so old and I was also looking at the operating performance excluding Dawson hit. My mistake.

Still, ongoing operations look to be doing reasonably well, don't you think?

Hi StewJames

Have a quick look at the results that were published soon after my comment.

I sold mine too. The next set of results are going to show a loss and I can see the price coming down from here. I was a shareholder for the best part of ten years so finally getting an exit at a reasonable profit was too good an opportunity to miss."

Just catching up on these and at first glance it seems the operating performance has improved nicely. Why are you excepting a loss?

Does anyone else feel that Gyllie and Private Investors are a contradiction ?

I collected the annual report from HQ but sadly Malcolm was not in today apparently he mostly works from home now. I was going to ask him a couple of questions but guess they can wait until our AGM.

I may go and wake Malcolm up tomorrow and ask him for a copy of the annual report – nothing like a shareholder turning up on the doorstep...

Leeds enthusiasts !!!!
Am not sure their are many of those; & most are aware of Yorklyde, Dawson & all the other disappointing investment satellites of PG & Browallia over the past 10+ years.

Leeds enthusiasts should not forget the outcome for investors in PG-controlled Chapelthorpe (code: "CPL"). By chance, a geographical neighbour.

I think it is time PG pushed the boat out.

Excellent 'trading results', but impossible to reason what will get this share price closer to asset value [.49pence] while the 'Swedes' remain disinterested or speculating on how to lose more value with ill considered investments !!!

Rapidly approaching our final results...Perhaps good news?

I told Jan last year we would put our trust in him & the majority shareholders to take the right decisions to drive the business forward and hopefully deliver a return for shareholders.

They have done by default !!! as we all have done !
Have to assume the company buying in its stock is good for all long term exasperated & disappointed holders !!!

I am not one to rock the boat but should not Malcolm and Kathryn increase their holding?

Encouraging half year results.
Particularly liked the cash generation & growth in the hk operation.

Interim results suggest worthwhile growth in the underlying business.
Cash generation & the recent China operations particularly impressive.

Umm....
I remarked on this holding some time ago.
Must say I dont see any logic in the investment; David Kirch [who has cancer] has been busy these past years distributing his acquired fortune to Jersey residents over the age of 70.
What possible plans to use LDSG as a listed vehicle for his own interests given the distribution of his fortune ?.
If any offensive action [improbable] is planned then Sunningdale is taking its time about it.

Interesting.
That actually is my target price on a fair valuation.
