30/6/2016 16:50 | At this price I wouldnt be surprised to see a buyer appear | thenewtradesman
30/6/2016 15:11 | I guess the market is pricing in a global construction recession. Would've thought their high margin middle east business would be more geared towards the oil price which has recovered significantly from the earlier lows. And with those earnings linked to the dollar they will growing nicely when converted to sterling. But the market is rarely short term rational in pricing at times like these. Lavendon is cheaper (on both P/E & EV/EBITDA) and more secure (lower net gearing, higher current ratio) than all the other hire companies (HSS, SDY, VP., ASTD) yet is mid-table for recent price falls. | dangersimpson2
30/6/2016 15:06 | LVD are 50pc overseas, Europe/MidEast. I would have thought that the forex earnings would help in these circumstances. Bottom of the descending channel here as well, so lets see what happens. | pilgrim

07/6/2016 21:51 | Has anyone on here done any sort of analysis of LVD compared to VP in terms of end market exposure, geog exposure etc? VP trades at 12x Mar-17, whereas LVD is at such a discount to that that its not remotely comparable. Setting aside type of equipment, you'd expect growth prospects to drive a valuation difference. Just wonder why the difference is so great, apart from the market just being 'wrong'. Thanks | adamb1978
07/6/2016 10:59 | Turning now imo | my retirement fund
06/6/2016 19:36 | Wise words amen, just frustrating at times. Nice recovery today. | wilk1
06/6/2016 16:40 | pippin6 I think that it’s just a question of patience until the value is realised; if you can, just sit back and take the divvy and maybe in 18 months time you might have a real winner on your hands. I just see the current share price moves as noise. | amencorner
02/6/2016 13:51 | Agreed. I'd forecast a period of 130-140p trading going forward. spud | spud
