24/8/2010 12:05 | I really do not see a delisting threat here. The many family members on the register probably have financial needs themselves from time to time and can use part of their holdings due to the marketability. Additionally share options are awarded to key managers as incentives. They have been listed for many years and a public limited company for over 250 so I doubt it will change anytime soon. It is part of a core long term holding for me and provides a great income. No doubt the family members see it the same too. | davidosh
24/8/2010 10:29 | Thanks davidosh and hvs. That ownership profile is both good and bad; they tend to look after shareholders' interest better and will be interested, always, in a decent divi. But - it's far more difficult for it to get taken out. Then again, if it does, it has to go at a decent premium. A de-listing looks less likley than most with so many aboard. | gingerplant
24/8/2010 10:00 | Anyone going to the AGM tomorrow ? | davidosh
20/8/2010 17:14 | As far as I know Lathams have about 53%. | hvs
20/8/2010 16:56 | Someone once told me there were over 90 Lathams on the share register and there will of course be those who married into the family and have their names on there too. | davidosh
29/6/2010 10:31 | Well not to sure about business solidity hvs, the share price looks like its going up and that's good enough for me. If it closes above 185 today ill have a few | jon827
29/6/2010 10:25 | Yup but the share price needs to reflet the solidity of this business. | hvs
