01/11/2006 08:24 | Hi thecynical1 No problem ... 24.50 - 26.00 | blackgold101
01/11/2006 08:17 | morning Black Gold.....could you please post the bid offer spread this morning ? I have no streaming today.....bit like flying blind.....thanks in advance. | thecynical1
01/11/2006 08:15 | Hi Ein I also hear there are now two deals on the table and the price action would seem to confirm this ... On Monday a buy of just 5,000 shares (£1,250) moved the price up around 5% On Tuesday sellers where getting taken out the market well above bid price ... 75,000 shares (£18,525) where traded at 24.70p, when the bid was 24p and the mid was 25p! ... in fact on Tuesday there where more sellers than buyers and still the price ground higher and closed on the high of the day As thecynical1 says there is a buyer (or buyers) sat in the background quietly soaking up the sells at way above bid price ... they must have a large buy order to fill and they know that if they show there hand the offer is going to move up and away from them fast There is definitely something big about to happen, but I guess this RNS confirms that :-) Has anybody had any calls from brokers looking for stock? As a long term holder it will be nice to sit back and watch the mad scrabble for shares when we get the actual announcement ... I don't think you will see 30p on the offer for very long ... I think Christmas is coming early this year :-) | blackgold101
30/10/2006 14:11 | somebody must be nibbling away in the background if they increase the bid again......reckon it will remain quiet today as the money behind this is mainly in Ireland and they have a bank holiday today..... | thecynical1
30/10/2006 08:59 | Something is starting to happen, there could be offers of more than one deal ? | ein
25/10/2006 20:37 | I see that has attracted a lot of attention then... ; ) funny to see the bid move on fairly lousy volume..anybody else reckon that they have an order to fill and need to entice punters to get rid of the stock ? they know that by dropping the bid they are not going to scare anyone out..so upping the bid is the only way to "leach" stock out of holders who are indifferent or have enough....any thoughts? | thecynical1
24/10/2006 14:55 | must be a decent sized project if they bother announcing they are in negotiations.....it has taken a while but the returns since the OFEX days have been pretty interesting one way or the other...a nice deal here which injects some life into the old beast would be very interesting...and given that there are as far as I know not a lot of "weak" holders out there...any press/publicity and a couple of punters jumping on the bandwagon should imo get this up towards 30p...it would still leave a miniature market cap.... | thecynical1
24/10/2006 10:10 | well equityswap you have gone all quiet what was that you said on the 13th oct ? | whiteknight52

21/10/2006 15:01 | afternoon all...I see that it has been relatively quiet here.......wonder whether there was any significance to the small buys that went through this week....does someone know something ? some of the buys were not actually all that small... ; ) | thecynical1

13/10/2006 13:52 | I would like to be proved wrong, but unfortunately I think I was right when I said there is nothing happening anymore on this stock ... I think we definitely lost the deal Back to sleep for another year? | equityswap

03/9/2006 13:33 | You are at the right place if you want to join the long list of people that have been shafted by that well known crook TOG. | amarilloslim
03/9/2006 13:15 | Equity...I had heard that there may be a placement....I have not heard anything since...will ask the question in the morning......ref selling a few from a placing...from what I understand of some of the companies in Ireland...the "lock-in" clause - albeit on the basis of a gentleman's agreement - still plays a role...not sure if they would have gone down this road but I would hazard a guess that they have.....ref the market cap being too high...not sure I agree with you...admittedly 5-6 million is a hell of a lot more than 3 million but there are numerous entities out there with higher market caps and not much going on......I think that it is worth sitting this out...I don't think that they would be raising the cash if they didn't see a use for it...TOG is nobody's fool...and MN has been around long enough to know what happens if you screw around with your shareholders too much... ; ) | thecynical1 |
