Sorry if my last post seemed harsh; I'm just a little cross at the prospect of being diluted ... for no action

My estimate is that at the current share price the market cap will be around £5-6M, if the rumours of a placement are true

That's quite high for a cash shell with no deal

If you had picked up stock in a placing 25-30% cheaper than the current sp, wouldn't you be tempted to sell a few (I agree "dump" is the wrong word to use)

Maybe I am wrong about the placing, just getting frustrated with this stock now, there has been quite a few false dawn

Equity....that was a remarkably subtle little deramp !! ; ) suggesting that the market cap is a little on the high side is in my opinion kind of questionable.....if you compare the based on the profile of holders in this company I would suggest that your fear that people are going to start dumping is a little off......where is the rumour that you are hearing circulating ? Dublin ? London ? if you have been around this for a while...which I take it you have ? you will know that it would be impossible to "dump" stock....the price here moves significantly on very low volume...so if you tried to "dump" say 500,000 shares I reckon you would find yourself driving the price down on yourself...jmo.

Rumour has it that a placing has been done ... but still no deal ... can anybody confirm this?

That probably explains why the share price moved up, i.e. to get the placing away at a lower level

Maybe with cash in the bank they will be able to get a deal now

The market cap is starting to look big for a company with no deal; I hope the people who got sorted in the placing don't start dumping stock in the market to make a quick profit

I am led to believe that Pyarali Lalji Mamdani has always been the 4th largest share holder in LPP ... so if there was something going on he would know about it and if there was going to be a placement I am sure he would be in on it

The fact that he is buying shares now makes me confident there is no placement and no deal ... but maybe a nice rumour to lift the share price so if they get a deal, they can pay for it with equity without diluting existing shareholders to much

Sorry I didn't get back to you in your earlier post, been in NY tying up some business

I am still confident (unfortunately) that there is nothing going on (there was, but unfortunately it fell through the rumour goes)

I am surprised nobody flagged up this RNS a few days back

This to me confirms nothing is going on ... I doubt anybody would be declaring a notify able interest if a deal was about to be announced ... I think they might get done for insider trading somehow (nobody's that stupid)

I guess the price rise today is still the original rumour doing the rounds

Cobble hiders and all, I have held these for quite a while and expect a grand performance over the next few weeks. A deal has been sought for quite a while and methinks the time has come.

only joking........Equity...not sure what exactly you are hearing but going by the trading over the last couple of days I would guess that there is something going on.....I am wondering whether they have raised money and the trades coming in are from those who did not manage to get in on the placing........any thoughts on that ? it is funny to see this wake up at this time of the year...the individuals involved are a fairly savvy lot when it comes to news and timing thereof from what I know....having news in the middle of the summer strikes me as a strange idea....am wondering therefore if they may have news to come...and this was used to get the placing away...or am I being a bit cynical..

With the shares in LPP as tightly held as they are borrowing the stock to go short would be impossible and a naked short would be suicide

Nothing very interest is going to happen today
