SpotOn Energy finalised a farm-out deal with the exploration firm for the Barryroe oil and gas field last years

Providence Resources has been approached by its partner in the development of the Barryroe oil and gas field about a potential merger of the two companies, the Business Post understands.

The Business Post understands SpotOn has now proposed a merger between the two entities

Remains to be seen whether Spoton will pick up their share of the NPI burden if the deal goes through. Agree LOGP were not a party to PVR buying OUT SLE's 30%.

Re your 80 20 split with PVR. Correct me if I am wrong but don't San Leon have 10%?

PVR / LOGP Farm in 80:20

PVR / LOGP market caps £57mln : £11.7mln

Approx 4:1 rule should have LOGP at £14.2mln, approx 20% higher than current. Added some more this morning purely on the differential

Had a few here...got bitten with the drop last year in PVR but considering the recovery there to virtually the pre-rns levels, there is a considerable catch-up required from LOGP.

On the one hand we have people selling 6 million LOGP shares at 1.0p, way below the bid price. On the other hand we have people buying Bitcoin at $39,000. It's very difficult to know how to play a market as stupid as this.

SHARE TALK, shares for 2021Lansdowne Oil & Gas (LOGP): The Barryroe BondWe have another "waiting game" opportunity here at Lansdowne Oil & Gas, where the hope is the multi year story of the Barryroe oil and gas field offshore Cork, Ireland, should soon reach its denouement. Having already been kicked and punched by the slings and arrows of the Green Lobby, red tape and multiple parties being involved, shareholders in Lansdowne, as well as Providence (PVR) and San Leon Energy (SLE), are all waiting for a decent conclusion. This optimism took a dent at the end of November when the "signed farm-out agreement" turned out it was missing the bond financing requirement to get the show on the road. However, given the way that the SpotOn consortium should have deep enough pockets and / or rich enough friends to find sub £100m financing against a rising oil price, a happy end to this painfully long affair should be in sight for 2021. Given that Lansdowne shares are trading below their enterprise value and have flushed out carpet baggers in what was a very crowded trade ahead of the farm-out news, even the whiff of a bond deal should lead to a decent reaction in the stock.
