The trustees of the Landround plc Employee Share Ownership Plan ("ESOP")
notified Landround plc (the "Company") of the following purchase of ordinary 5p
shares of the Company ("Ordinary Shares"):

Following this purchase the ESOP holds 183,934 Ordinary Shares representing 3.21
per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.


The ESOP holds these shares in a trust for beneficiaries, principally employees.
The beneficiaries of the ESOP include some of the directors of the Company who
are therefore interested in the shares being acquired. Consequently, some or all
of the executive directors of the Company may, at some future time, obtain a
beneficial interest in a number of these shares when awards are made under this
Plan.
