RNS Number:5907J Landround Plc 03 April 2003 LANDROUND PLC (the "Company") Director Shareholding The Company was today informed that Michael Crompton, the Chairman of the Company, yesterday purchased 15,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), at 145p per share, which represents approximately 0.28 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. Following this purchase, Mr Crompton is interested in 1,413,446 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 25.67 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. In addition to the above holding, the Company operates an Employee Share Ownership Plan ("ESOP") which holds 150,317 Ordinary Shares representing 2.76 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. The ESOP holds these shares in a trust for beneficiaries, principally employees. The beneficiaries of the ESOP include some of the directors of the Company who are therefore interested in the shares being acquired.
