Seen my holding decimated,after many years.Amazed that they have any shareholders left.

STAN-THE-MAN 6 Sep'07 - 21:08 - 3 of 9 Malcolm, Bill says there are 2 possible scenarios; 1/ LND will advance VW and B47 projects into production, which he says LND has the ability and backing to do. 2/ They will take them to a stage where they are very attractive to larger or medium size companies in the area who will take the projects forward. He finishes by saying either way, it will benefit shareholders. Stan or 3/ Eff all will happen over the next 9 years other than Bill getting handsomely recompensed for a part-time job & hobby that has achieved nothing for shareholders but a massive share dilution & performance from 17.5p to 0.5p and a cash burn of some £35 million. Defies belief.

Not looking good Lochlea. Nickel price very poor and there seems to be some shenanigans going on here whilst accountants and directors continue to take money and waste our time with more useless surveys. Is there anything that anybody can suggest that might encourage me to leave the few hundred quid here that were worth £15k when I bought them? Good luck to everyone in 2016. Best HM

During the festive break, I received my Notice of Lamaune Iron AGM a week tomorrow. Not required notice given but wtf? Been an expensive exercise since back in 2011 doing accounts & holding AGMs for seemingly no benefit to shareholders. 2016 - maybe this'll be the year the slow boat to China docks?

I wish! They have a lithium deposit from which they have taken no further action in recent years.

Let's hope as matters are so desperate now that they're paying out creditors with shares in lieu of payment(s) for services rendered that the end game isn't far away. About friggin time having trousered over £2 million in remuneration over a decade and seeing 700 million shares in circulation (with Options etc). What would a prospective purchaser of the Co have to offer today? 5 to 7p a share?

Johnsalv is so close to the people that run this country he's probably paid to put the company's case which is rather indefensible in my opinion! But there again if he didn't remain ridiculously loyal he would have to realise the total futility of this and slightly bigger sister pgd

Why delete your post johnsalv? If you were trying to imply that I would be reported to the FSA....... then please do. Maybe it's about time some authority ran their eyes over this saga.

Reasonable assumption made ref "will be". That was what it actually was for 2012. For 2013. For 2014. Split hairs all you want for 2015. The general point I make is valid. But I am happy to edit my post accordingly.

Seems to me, the longer they can keep this saga dragging on for the more they benefit personally. They have just raised £650k in return for giving away near 20% of the Company. Yet the Directors' remuneration for the financial year will no doubt be almost half of that at again £270k? Guess it keeps them gainfully employed and the £270k makes it less painful to contribute to the fundraising themselves (at rock bottom levels) and increase their own holding for good measure. Who was it that suggested this has seemingly been deliberated manipulated to a fraction of a penny?

At way less than a penny per share, what is there to say? Someone somewhere has just trousered nearly 10% of our Company for less than the Directors' remunerations awarded to themselves over 2013/14. Yet another drilling prog started. After 15 years, what next when that's completed?
