My guess is brokers have already taken this on as principal at 1.5 and placing the shares at just below offer price and making a fat turn today/monday. Drop in price to come after placing RNS. Hope I am wrong and but sold some earlier and yesterday as a hedge as think I will get more share for my money next week.

Final results may well be out before update on the Gold. If that is the case you may see a drop as is the case with many. e.g. 'Good' news before results and then a 'bit' of a hammer at results before 'good' news again.

Is it just me or are there no longer RNS email alerts from the LND PR people? I recently contacted them but have had no reply.

Things have been quiet for a while again but I don't want to miss the next news break when / if it happens.

Obviously I have no idea Jackbal when the next update will be. However they are usually fairly consistent with publishing the AR in early May time, which should give some indication how matters are progressing.

For me, this all hinges on a Major with financial clout & management team ready and willing to take this over. Be it as a buy out or a JV. There's hopefully now enough nickel & iron ore volume and the highly attractive "significant gold discovery" to add to the mix. Quite a few matters are at an advanced stage ready 'to go' which hopefully makes LND a serious acquisition target.

ps ref £50 profit...you just need to take a butchers at LND sell transactions recorded over the past 3-6 months. There's been enough of them yet I doubt many have made more than £50!! LOL.

Well 3 trades has prompted a 10% rise in the quoted Offer. Okay, not exactly doing cart-wheels as a consequence, but it's better than a poke in the eye with a jaggy stick whilst watching the price drop over past few days.

It was the herd mentally that drove the price up so much so quickly here.
With AIM stock like LND it usually means 10 buy trades to show a 15% increase in the Bid and 3 sell trades to show a 20% drop in share price (figures used for illustration purposes only). I have nowt against traders - it's all about making a descent profit on your investment, whether long or short. With a stock like LND personally I don't like to see too many traders for the reason stated. Simples. Sorry if you can't understand that rationale.

what all 3 of them! I think that this needs more traders arriving. Thats what got price back above 3p.

Why would you want traders out? I am not being confrontational as I was a trader that ended up holding by default and have certainly enjoyed reading your posts. I just cant understand the rationale.

Trapped, when a trade becomes a long term investment you mean and other trades in the same space get away from you. There is that timing thing again.

Trojan thanks for your comments, glad its not just me that seems to fall into this trap!!

I havent looked at this for a week but seems to be slowly drifting down on little volume as I thought it might but I guess its all pretty meaningless until next RNS, lets hope it doesnt fall too far in the meantime.

I sincerely hope not.
There's only one member of the Board with any experience and he's 76 years old.

Obviously a JV can't be entirely ruled out.

MMs trying to flush out any weak hands before news + re-rating?

In theory vast majority of stock should be held in safe hands here with the private equity group, waiting for the end game to be confirmed.
