MM's now biding 39.3p for 300,000 shares.(39.75p for up to 100,000 shares)

AGM on 28th March and would expect a trading update on the first half and the potential in the second half.

Interim results out in June and again expecting a dividend to be stated which should all be good for the share price as well.

IMO, DYOR.

Update 12.32pm MM's now biding 40p for up to 350,000 shares.

My guess is an institution investor is after stock.

Some massive sells today, I wonder who's hands they could fall into ?

I wonder if Stuart Black is off-loading his holding ?

These could easily get taken-over, i'm sure Steve Rawling family could cash-in at any time for the right price.

It should be noted that Framework Agreements are no guarantee of work and that other contractors will undoubtedly be on the same Frameworks. A Framework Agreement is not an order for work. Will they develop into substantial orders? Time will tell.

Holt pays the bills, & a director buy says it all.
Negative P&L balance means no tax for quite a while = cash retention.

This is a recovery situation & yes, there are plenty of aspects
which are questionable, but if/as Holt gets to grips with the basics,
the rest will soon enough get cleaned up IMO, & assets will recover,
which is why I'm back in.......

Sounds good and a 0.5p dividend which I did not expect.

Very optimistic for the future of the company.

It is reasonable to think we will get an interim dividend and a progressive share price over 2018.

Lakehouse Construction works with European partners to push innovation in new build technology

Built2Spec is a part of the EU funded research and innovation project Horizon 20/20, which aims to secure Europe’s global competitiveness. Built2Spec’s objective is to reduce the ‘performance gap’ in new buildings. This is the difference between the expected energy performance of a building at design stage, and the actual energy performance of that building once it’s built and being used. This ‘performance gap’ can potentially mean up to double the expected energy usage after the building has been finished, a significant challenge to the UK construction industry. Built2Spec addresses this challenge by supporting the development of systems to check the efficiency of the building at all stages of the build process, ensuring delivery of the building is exactly as specified at the design stage.
Built2Spec has access to €5.5m in funding across 20 construction partners from eight countries and these partners are undertaking research in new onsite techniques in several key areas: thermal imaging, internal air quality, air tightness testing, acoustic tools, 3D imagining tools and smart building sensors. Each of these areas can significantly improve the process of ensuring the building’s efficiency is as it should be.
Lakehouse Construction has been working alongside a mixture of partners including VRM, BSRIA and the University of Nottingham conducting research and development in the area of air tightness testing within buildings. The work is being overseen by Lakehouse Construction’s Head of Design Brett Telford with BIM manager Kamila Molnarova running the VCMP and BIM testing, and Compliance Manager Andrew Thompson, now trained in air tightness, conducting live tests on existing sites. Lakehouse Construction and their partners are involved in the project in the following ways:
Nottingham University are developing a new air test equipment called the pulse unit.
BSRIA are testing thermal imaging cameras from Flir 1 that can be used with iPhones and developing software so this can be utilised on site checks of thermal performance.
VRM are developing their refurbify app software for the Virtual Construction Management Platform (VCMP)
Lakehouse are to work with these partners by providing sites for testing, carrying out the pulse unit testing against blower door test equipment and developing the VRM software and overall training plans.
The results of the development work will be brought together in one overall cloud based, BIM integrated, construction management platform. This cloud based platform will also incorporate site quality management systems through mobile devices. The full suite of tests will then be piloted across all regions. 2018 will mark the final year of the project object for Lakehouse and over the course of the next year Lakehouse will be conducting long term live testing of the air tightness equipment and VCMP.

Another New contract.

tenants of Fife Housing Group are set to benefit from cavity and loft insulation work following the completion of a contract by Everwarm.
Having commenced in July 2017, with completion in October 2017, the contract saw Everwarm carry out Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) on all properties included within the contract to determine suitability and eligibility prior to works commencing. As a result, 55 cavity wall insulation installations were carried out, together with 51 loft insulation installations.
Scott Paton, Everwarm operations director, said: “We’re delighted to help Fife Housing Group achieve their Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) targets and provide affordable warmth within their communities. All installations were British Board of Agrément (BBA) approved and completed to PAS2030 standards, giving Fife Housing Group and its residents further peace of mind.
“The feedback we’ve had from residents is that they’re already realising the benefits of a warmer home. We’re delighted to have had such a positive impact on Fife’s communities and look forward to working with Fife Housing Group to expand their energy efficiency programme across the region.”
Fife Housing Group contract officer, David Todd, said: “Getting the properties insulated has increased their Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) ratings and the overall EESSH score across our housing stock. This will also benefit the tenants going forward as they should see a reduction in both their fuel bills and carbon emissions but, most importantly, experience a much warmer home.”

diduno became a member of ADVFN on 27 Apr 2016 and has only posted on the Lakehouse BB.

It is obvious that diduno has in someway been connected to the company and has a grievance and holds a grudge otherwise why would he/she just post on this BB with theoretical comments on the fraud case to try to make out to be bigger than what it actually is.

It is a shame people like diduno cannot move on with their life’s, he/she is a very sad individual which should seek help.

You appear to know Bob Holt personally, Napoleon 14th. You know that he is confident about what he can do and that he enjoys a challenge. But are you aware of the size of the challenge that he has taken on? Until police investigations are complete I dare say you, like most, have absolutely no idea. Perhaps Bob Holt isn't fully aware either as the alleged frauds took place prior to him taking over. However, it is clear that he knows the company had 'rogue employees' because he has said so. With that in mind, I think it foolish not to expect criminal prosecutions.

You are indeed correct when you say that the proof will be in the pudding. But what if the ingredients contain poison which it appears from Bob Holt's statement, it surely must? The only unknown at this point is how much poison?

Are you willing to gamble on this and invest? It sounds to me that you are not.

I do not blame current investors for talking the company up as some have probably lost a large chunk of their original investment already and are eager to see a recovery, but I fail to understand why those with no financial interest should do so unless they have ties with Lakehouse and/or Bob Holt.

Pure hypothesis, diduno, but a bit obvious to me.
If he's nailed his name to the mast - & he doesn't need to - it's 'cos he's
A. confident about what he can do &
b. enjoys a challenge.

Often, in these situations, you get someone who has what it takes to sort out the sh1t and that can turn a share into a bagger. No guarentees, obviously, but I remember the profits I made on CAPE (CIU) when they did a damage limitation and evolved into other activities.

Bob Holt is probably a good bet to turn this one round, but the proof will be in the pudding!
