This is a bargepole stock on corporate governance until someone sorts the BOD out, and hence why Slater is trying to do something about it, avoid until or if the shakeup occurs imo.

Thanks for your insight after meeting both of them. I must venture the view though that I cannot see Mark Slater lining up with Rawlings on this issue without having concerns about the competence and influence of the NXD's. His fund has a 6% stake in this company and he is clearly unhappy over the negative trading update, less than 2 months after the positive outlook that was contained in the results statement, and the subsequent halving of the shareprice. I think that view also applies to all investors here who were holding prior to the end of January.

I was able to have a good chat with both the CEO and the CFO yesterday at Mello and I liked how they handle themselves and that combined with the fact that I know they ran a good operation at least in social housing regen made me comfortable making a modest purchase this morning.
It is all rum and no doubt all will be revealed when we read the Requisition document; my own take and I may be completely off track here as I had never heard his name until a couple of weeks back is that Rawlings is having some difficulty with his creation being run by others. We were told specifically that Slater did not vote against the dividend policy which is self evident as that was passed 100% and the impression I gained was that Slater had not voted against the other resolutions but cannot recall that being said explicitly. Not quite sure what Rawlings had against the auditor’s remuneration.
Where I am a bit lost is that Rawlings has 15% and 28% voted against the resolutions ; we were told that this difference was made up substantially family members(including his/a sister) are shareholders and they must be either sub 3% or one of the nominees.
As stated a big distraction and hopefully will be soon resolved. I have never been to a requisitioned EGM so will be a new experience for me.

nurdin....The new CEO and FD are going to be there. If you think it would help to understand the investment case for lakehouse then by all means contact the company and say you think that they should attend and see what the response is ?

I am not really wanting a shootout at the SeaSalt Corral !!
