(the "Company")

Director / PDMR shareholding

As announced earlier today, the High Court of Justice of England and Wales has issued a Court Order sanctioning the Scheme of Arrangement under which the Company will be acquired by AI Ladder Limited, a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of funds managed by Advent International Corporation ("Advent").

In consequence, share awards granted to participants in Laird Share Plans which had not already vested now vest to the extent determined by the Laird Remuneration Committee in accordance with the rules of the relevant Laird Share Plans.

The Company has been notified of the following transactions in the Company's ordinary shares of 28.125p each undertaken by its directors:

Performance conditions having been met, Anthony Quinlan, an Executive Director, has acquired 627,758 ordinary shares (being 563,701 shares in respect of the grant of awards made in April 2017 and 64,057 in respect of the grant of awards made in March 2018).

Performance conditions having been met, Kevin Dangerfield, an Executive Director, has acquired 416,127 ordinary shares (being 373,665 shares made in respect of the grant of awards in April 2017 and 42,462 in respect of the grant of awards made in March 2018).

Other Share awards granted to directors under the Laird 2015 Long Term Incentive Plan have lapsed.

The relevant notifications set out below are provided in accordance with the requirements of Article 19 of the EU Market Abuse Regulation.
