I don't think it's a coincidence that the new name for the company reflects the title of his latest book, zangdook. Jim Mellon is usually a step ahead of the pack, which is probably why he is so successful. The company has clearly identified where it wants to go from here on and yesterday's RNS was a statement of intent.

I've had a brief look at Mellon on Twitter and he mostly tweets about his trading strategies. He doesn't mention Kuala, which I'm glad about personally.

I wonder what the next Kuala investment deal will be - and when. The shares seem to be in short supply here, I was quoted well over the offer price to buy anything other than a small amount yesterday.

Wonder if the 300,000 + twitter followers of Mellon and appreciative readers of his book may be considering buying into the vehicle of the same name.

If you follow the fella and like what he's about you should have some of these in the portfolio.

A small piece in the Daily Mail today:

"Up from 5pc since the beginning of the month, Kuala Innovations improved 4 per cent more to 9.75p. The company plans to change its name to Fast Forward Innovations and further investment deals are in the pipeline."

Perhaps since the half yearly results are due out in the next few weeks that will be the date the company name changes and we will also have a better idea of projected revenues from the acquisitions so far. Factom and Satoshipay are certainly raising their profiles in the USA.
