16/11/2016 11:52 | I think your thoughts are fair, isaready that said, I did notice that the koovs app is hitting quite high download levels in countries such as UK, Australia and other Asian/African countries - there is a large Indian diaspora who will be interested plus no reason they shouldn't expand overseas in Asia and beyond just as asos (and boohoo) have | geheimnis2
16/11/2016 11:48 | Hyper Al, I remember them at 80p. Actually I knew someone way back who I think got 100K sterling at 80p. I have not seen or spoke to him, as we lost contact, but I suspect his 100K turned into at least 6 million if he held most of them till £50. That's the kind of deal ASC was. Good for him. I am not sure if Koov will be worth as much from these levels, but its clear, India is around 5/6 years behind in terms of technologies and demand for services of the middle class. So yes, it could go up 20 times to 2 billion, not now, it 5 years maybe, if the market is big and they expand beyond India. Asos is global, Koov is just focused on just India. I am not sure the size of the oppertunity. | isaready
16/11/2016 11:35 | MaloneyT If you want a decent quantity of shares, all you need to do is approach the company broker, you may be lucky next time. Should add, no advice intended! | hyper al
16/11/2016 11:27 | I got in at 81.5p in July and still waiting. why couldnt we have some of those 50p new shares then ?? | maloneyt
16/11/2016 11:25 | It's all in the RNS. Creating a brand takes money. When this flips into profit watch the share price rocket. When I looked at ASOS in Dec. 2005, this was from ASOS Final results released earlier that year then "*Group sales +79% to #13.5m *Group profit before tax and amortisation of goodwill +77% to #1.1m *Group profit after amortisation of goodwill and before tax +240% to #0.9m *Cash at bank +105% to #2.1m *Fully diluted EPS before tax and goodwill amortisation +67% to 1.5p *ASOS.com registered users + 58% to 600,000 (as at 4th July 2005) *1st quarter sales tracking over 100% year on year *Quieter summer, warehouse move and all important Christmas period still to come *Confident of another strong year " From RNS Market cap for ASOS at time just after Buncefield Disaster was around £40m | hyper al
16/11/2016 11:22 | I was in at around 70p and got out pretty quickly when I saw the price going down. The price is more tempting now so I've put my toe in the water again this morning. | dgbell7

16/11/2016 10:28 | Interims due outThe six month interims are due out in December. The first 6 months of 2015 produced sales of £2.833 million. The first 4 months of 2016 alone produced sales of £5 million.A strong August & September could push total 6 month sales to £8 millionThat's a possible increase of £5.2 million- an increase of 180%The publicity machine hasn't even started with this one yet! | harebridge
16/11/2016 10:27 | isaready - time flies ! | mister md
16/11/2016 10:14 | isaready I remember ASOS at around 55p in December 2005, after the Buncefield fire. I wish I had purchased then! Well I purchased Koovs at 59p today, maybe I will get it right this time! | hyper al
16/11/2016 09:51 | Hi Mister MD16 , slightly wrong below. ASOS 5 years ago was £10 a share. It was a penny share,if you call it that, 90p 10 years ago. Mister MD16 Nov '16 - 08:53 - 1438 of 1454 0 0 Asos was a penny share a few years back - now its marketcap is 46 times that of Koovs. Wonder how things will look 5 years from now | isaready
16/11/2016 09:47 | Current tradingThe Group continues to trade strongly and is trading in line with market expectations in respect of the current financial year. Also, remember what happened soon after the last placing at 25p! | harebridge

16/11/2016 09:32 | Geheimnis2 o/t I follow the thread on ADVFN, that's it, not had contact with the company or anyone in it for years. I did some work for them, that's why I stopped posting. I don't currently hold any shares in fbt. I'm aware of the 'reading between the lines' going on, but not yet in a position to buy any just now, if I get some funds you may see me back on that thread. sorry everyone for o/t | hyper al
16/11/2016 09:20 | Hi hyper how are you? Do you still follow fbt? | geheimnis2
16/11/2016 09:18 | harebridge Thank you I agree, quite a large percentage will be with large/serious private investors. I had a good look at ASOS just after the Buncefield disaster, but never purchased, always regretted that decision. Plenty of room in India for a few large online retailers, but Koovs has media support and is pushing all the right buttons, I think Koovs will be the leader of the bunch. | hyper al
16/11/2016 09:13 | harebridge for new guys here, could you give a quick precis of the company and where it is please | larva
16/11/2016 09:10 | wil hit 80p on new trading statement which investors have heard today | larva
16/11/2016 09:06 | Had to go to market for even 2000 shares, no online quote. Tightly held and I like it | mister md
16/11/2016 09:04 | Just topped up Last chance below 60p, I think Choo choo! Just a thought of course? | geheimnis2
16/11/2016 09:01 | Welcome aboard Al- have a look at the corporate section of the website (at the bottom of the page). It shows you all the shareholders & current free float. With new Institutions on board, I estimate less than 20% available to the public. And I'm sure much of those will be held by serious investors.Yes it is illiquid, but will make it hard for the likes of Amazon India, Myntra & Snapdeal to buy into this.I'm in no doubt the the big 3 e commerce players are keeping a very close eye on Koovs as they tussle for dominance in the fashion sector. | harebridge
16/11/2016 08:58 | Not really melody, because the placing was widely touted and expected. Thus much of that 14% discount was arguably already in the price. :0) | taurusthebear |
