12/3/2017 11:50 | Bernard Aylward, CEO of Kodal Minerals, said: "Our recent trenching programme continues to identify high priority targets in our prospective Bougouni Lithium Project. We have now identified additional wide pegmatite veins that we will test drill in March. This field activity continues to confirm our strategy of developing a mining hub at Bougouni based on multiple, high-grade lithium pegmatite veins within the project area. "This region in Mali is continuing to demonstrate a very strong development of lithium mineralisation, and within our project we continue to demonstrate great potential." | cpap man
12/3/2017 11:45 | I expect the BGS boardroom coup to be unsuccessful, and after that I expect a jv between Kod and Bgs for joint production facilities. | janestone
12/3/2017 11:43 | BGS and Shandong Mingrui Chemical Co Ltd. KOD and Suay China. Suay China and Shandong Mingrui Chemical Co Ltd. Why is there no other interest in the Mali lithium project if its so lucrative that Shandong Mingrui Chemical Co Ltd were prepared to pay $107m for the entire share captial of BGS. Every article you read about China's energy policy states it is craving for lithium. If so why it is blocking its own companies from bringing lithium into the country that it so desperately needs. If Shagdog were prepared to pay $107m for BGS why are they putting up a miserly £500k via Suay China into KOD followed by another £4.3m after due diligence. What do they think KOD are lying about the results? I'm really sorry but I don't personally believe the whole Mali lithium story myself. Either on the Aussie or the UK side. China certainly has an interest in lithium as does the rest of the world but I am never convinced of any real commercial interest in these early start AIM mining companies. Once lithium is a whisker away from being extracted then that's a different matter. I see Blenheim Natural Resources have now jumped onto the Mali lithium bandwagon. 12/3/2017 11:02 | Seems to me to be a prelude to a full takeover building a stake on the cheap in my opinion.Crafty way of getting in before full results out which they know will be very good in my opinion | john2017
12/3/2017 10:50 | From HC BB in AUS ref: Aussie listed LITHIUM play BGS....starting to discuss fellow LITHIUM play namely AIM listed KOD.... "don't know if your aware, the Chinese that tried to takeover BGS have now, by using a close affiliate, invested money into neighbour KOD. They also have an off take agreement with KOD. Wonder what it all means in the end. Happy days to all" | cpap man
12/3/2017 10:25 | My share price target for KOD during 2017 is 3p+ | cpap man
12/3/2017 09:30 | Well as we all know [even the de-rampers!] KOD closed well above that level on Friday so will now no doubt go back and attack the 0.5p+ share price levels.... And Zak Mir hints at a much higher share price for KOD during 2017.... | cpap man
12/3/2017 09:25 | Kodal Minerals to re-test 0.5p level as long as it stays above this number.... Technical analyst Zak Mir reckons the Kodal Minerals PLC (LON:KOD) share price can head back up to its recent highs of 0.5p and above in the coming months. “Shares have surged through the 0.2p level to start 2017 [and there is] likely support back towards the 0.2p to 0.5p range,” he explains. “Only back below 0.2p really delaying the bull argument and a potential re-test of the 0.5p+ zone.” | cpap man
12/3/2017 09:20 | Kodal Minerals booms, but Zak Mir thinks there’s more to come.... Shares in Kodal Minerals PLC (LON:KOD) have added almost 50% today (Friday), but technical analyst Zak Mir is tipping the stock to rise even further and test last year’s highs. “We’ve bounced off the former September resistance at 0.2p and have gapped through the 50-day moving average at 0.32p,” says Mir in the latest Proactive Investors Bulletin Board segment. “If we close somewhere around here today as an end-of-week close, we’d be looking for the shares to retest the best levels of 2017 to date, above 0.5p.” | cpap man

12/3/2017 08:39 | Battery Wars – China Beating Tesla In The Gigafactory Race By MINING.com - Feb 22, 2017, 2:00 PM CST Gigafactory Tesla’s Gigafactory 1 has been a center of attention for people interested in the growing momentum behind green energy, electric cars, and battery production. Therefore, it is no surprise that this facility was in the news again last month, with Tesla starting to mass produce batteries as it ramps up to its goal of 35GWh of capacity and beyond. However, as exciting as this project is, it’s actually just one of multiple large-scale “megafactories China leading the charge We talked to Simon Moores, Managing Director at Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, who explained that Tesla isn’t alone or unique in its ambitions to build lithium-ion batteries at scale: While the Tesla Gigafactory is vitally important from an EV vertical integration perspective, the majority of new lithium-ion battery capacity is being built in China. Some of these plants are expected to be huge such as the CATL facility at 50GWh – there is little doubt that China’s lithium-ion industry has come of age. Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd (CATL) has plans to build the largest lithium-ion megafactory of all – but the company is little known in North America. It’s already worth $11.5 billion, and could be a dominant force globally in the battery sector if it successfully increases its lithium-ion production capacity six-fold to 50GWh by the year 2020. | mhin2
12/3/2017 08:25 | As i stated yesterday TROLLS should NOT be fed but FILTERED If their lies and complete and utter de-ramping b*ll*cks needs to be dealt with....then deal with it indirectly by NOT mentioning the said TROLL in the post. Simples! | cpap man
12/3/2017 01:17 | I suggest we don't feed the troll by ignoring it which clearly has an agenda | john2017
12/3/2017 00:40 | pwhite - So why are you here then? I know i am running the risk here of feeding the troll. Oh no, dont worry about it, filtered. :) | seal1
12/3/2017 00:21 | musk is launching the giga factory...if successful, we could be at the beginning of a revolution. Just hope that KOD has the resources that seem to be intimated...The Chinese seem to think they might have, and the grades were impressive...but I am not an expert....oh, of course, there is gold activity...lets hope we hear something soon. | mhin2
11/3/2017 23:55 | kcowe This stock was drifting back down to the last placing price of 0.15p and it would have went there as the Chinese were taken out of the Mali lithium equation. A rabbit was pulled out of the hat. They can fool you they cannot fool me. | pwhite73
11/3/2017 23:31 | Pwhite73 You are the best indicator this stock is on the move, in jan when the price was .18 p you were slagging off the company lol.... more than doubled my money a few weeks later here... loaded up again in the last couple of days .... you have reinforced my belief I will do well here once again..
