05/1/2017 11:00 | Extremely busy BB's on Aussie listed BGS - for example from www.hotcopper.com.au Where else you going to " Accidentally " get a current 600% return on your hard earned money in less than four years ? Some have even done it in just the last year alone, but even over the whole time frame it is exceptional compared to investing high interest accounts or real estate ect. Peter J I am glad Barney .. But I have been here a long time ... my personal circumstances have turned sour .... I do not have a big investment in BGS .. but I am relying on it ... everything crossed :) Here's hoping it all turns out even better than it has already for you then Peter, you've waited this long so a couple more months shouldn't be too long a stretch to see things out for another 600-1000% from here huh ? :) Hi Marakai That is what I need ( the 600 - 1000 % ) .. I am not leaving BGS anytime soon ... Thanks for the positive thoughts .. much appreciated GLTAH Peter J | cpap man
05/1/2017 10:07 | S P ANGEL STOCKBROKERS Birimian [BGS] – offer of A$107.5m for its Bougouni ‘Golamina̵ The offer by Shandong Mingrui Group appears to be bang on the average value for lithium resources which looks like a nice deal for Shandong considering the relatively high grade of Birimian’s Golamina resource at 1.8-2.2% lithium (Li2O) for 229,000t of contained lithium metal. The weighted average on our table of lithium producers is US$350/t though this is skewed by a relatively high valuation for Nemaska Lithium in Canada. If we strip out the value of Nemaska Lithium then our weighted average value for lithium resources falls to US$260/t of lithium. We suspect Shandong’s offer is based on the potential for increasing the Golamina lithium resource which is still a bit on the small size compared with others in our peer group. Elsewhere Albemarle Corp, the US lithium and speciality chemicals group has just completed its acquisition of Jiangli New Materials in China for US$145m. The Jiangli New Material assets are focussed on the production of battery-grade lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate have a total lithium salts capacity of 15,000tpa which Albemarle will raise to 20-25,000tpa. | cpap man

05/1/2017 09:50 | Chinese love investing in West Africa with Mali getting some serious attention. | keya5000
05/1/2017 09:44 | Totally agree with you there dingo75 although as per my previous posts i can see as always happens in the financial markets an element of over shooting! Talking of shooting....all the LITHIUM plays are shooting up as the underlying commodity goes well plus as we all know here the Chinese are buying up LITHIUM plays such as our near neighbour namely Aussie listed BGS! | cpap man
05/1/2017 09:37 | My share price target is 1.10p which would give it a fair value in relation to BGS's offer. That should easily double as further corporate action from the BGS side, get's reflected back to KOD, as the assets are fairly identical. KOD is basically the UK version of BGS, but with a lot more Lithium tenements. Could quite easily see a £100m mk cap down the line. Value will out here. | dingo75
05/1/2017 09:33 | Well tick up my posts then keya5000!!!! | cpap man
05/1/2017 09:32 | Cpap I agree, 1p must be the target in q1/2 2017. If they drill further and prove up the wider area's and the known veins are longer/deeper then who knows. 2-3p could be on the cards. | keya5000
05/1/2017 09:30 | Yes i reckon so the hitman1 REMember when REM took off from similar levels to KOD and then went up to some where in the 2p to 3p share price range i believe?!?!? My initial share price target for KOD during 2017 is 1p+ But the is no reason why KOD could NOT go even higher i.e. 2p to 3p | cpap man
05/1/2017 08:58 | Great volume, the next rem? | thehitman1
04/1/2017 18:06 | ... and I agree with posters on LSE any offer for BGS must have already been or will be extended to KOD. How can it not be when the two assets are identical sitting side by side but with KOD twice the size and twice the quality if they're to be believed. Lets see if the BGS offer forces out a statement from the board. | pwhite73
04/1/2017 17:56 | keya5000 - "Pwhite, Obviously its likely the last placing unwinding, when it does this will move. Yes that is a strong possibility. You then need to ask yourself why are the placees unwinding today on a market cap of £7m when BGS have just received an offer for $107m on half of what KOD own. Have a sleep on it overnight. | pwhite73
04/1/2017 17:48 | As per my earlier post today keya5000 would just ignore [FILTER] PWhite73 as a well known de-ramper on ADVFN POST 62 [as with all other posts by PWhite73] is just full of absolute rubbish! | cpap man
04/1/2017 17:48 | The 35m was from Friday and likely contributed to the strong move that day. | keya5000
04/1/2017 17:47 | Just a quick question though PW why have your attentions now turned in this direction, there are reasons and motives behind everything we do and you are not known for doing things from the goodness of your heart! | keya5000
04/1/2017 17:46 | that 35 million trade was on 30/12 12:33 after market close, and it is a BUY for £61,640 | paul the octopus
04/1/2017 17:45 | Pwhite, Obviously its likely the last placing unwinding, when it does this will move. I am quite sure if they get a $100m offer for one of the recently acquired lithium licences they may mention it. You are almost suggesting the board would act in a fraudulent manner? | keya5000
04/1/2017 17:39 | Buys have far outstrip sells with a 35 million buy at 12:33 recorded late but it does nothing for the shareprice. The AIM allows professionals to do this to PI investors. The stock today should have flown on the BGS takeover news but it hasn't. Reasons being the MM could be forward selling shares ahead of the next placing. KOD is also owned 86% by PIs therefore if you think any £100m Chinese offer is going to end up in the hands of Joe Mug Punter PI you are all gravely mistaken. The people who take their miserly 10 - 15% are the ones who are playing this right. BGS can announce a AUSS$107m because they are listed on the AUSX where regulations and regulators are much tougher. Do you think KOD PI mug punters would ever be told about a $100m offer? | pwhite73
04/1/2017 14:06 | For BGS, just a $67m company, $107m is not too shabby an offer. however the Chinese are 'stealing' that lithium deposit for that price. I rather think the directors are hoping that a counter offer will be made and that by announcing this offer and not rejecting it, it will flush out further buyers. Makes KOD look $70 million dollars too cheap incidentally. ( taking into account they are 6 months behind maybe a bit more ). But what the hells six months... | dingo75 |
